Speaking of Blissey, just caught my first wild one yesterday, and it turned out to be a 91 % one with ZH and Psychic! Pretty stoked, decent level too CP 1728 (level 19).

I just evolved my second Machamp, went with high level (28) but not-so-good IV (67%) Machop (Machamp is unfortonately rare here) and I got the same moves as you did. Dunno, even though BP is not the best move (and the annoying animation clutters the screen), DP gives really nice damage and I was able to take down 2500 Blissey with relative ease. So maybe worth giving it a shot, if you didn't already.

Nah I won't give it a shot. The difference in DPS is huge (12 to 20 or something like that) as Counter benefits from STAB and bullet punch doesn't. The charge move DP is nice and should allow you to take down any normal type pokemon but a big part is the quick move and having counter will make it a lot quicker.

Also helps that there is a Machop nest about 2 miles from home in a huge park with about 15 spawning at the same time that i'm yet to visit

hatched a larvitar and now have enough candies to evolve into a tyranitar. haven't got a great IV larvitar so not sure whether to wait on one or not. I have two at 89% IV.

after doing a bunch of evolving I'm only going to have 15 more to get before finishing the dex.

89 % sounds pretty good, especially if Attack is close to max. I've only caught (hatched) two Larvitar so far, 80 % and 82 % ones. At 64 candies currently. My plan is to evolve only after I have the 125 candies + enough to get the Tyranitar close to CP 3000 as I can't think of much use for a CP 2000 one.

Well, putting 10k critters in 2k eggs is definitely a clever cash grab, but man, I do still need my aerodactyl.

Also looks like gen2 starters can now be found in 5k eggs.

how do u know what a gen 2 starter is? most ppl starting playing last year... very few new players now to know what you can start with.

the "more candies per hatch" is a joke, apparently you get 2 more on avg

Therefore im gonna hatch as many new 2ks as i can rather than hatching my 10k's

brag: Never seen a dratini in the wild but now my scanner found a Dragonite, right next to a Larvitar which I haven't seen either
beat: It's 2km away and despawns in 30 sec

if u wnat to be technical niantec has never mentioned anything about generation 2 just johto and kantu region pokemon. i have never seen any patch notes or anythign that mentions generation 2

This whopping 1-2 extra candy is a bad joke, but otherwise not complaining. Though I spent the last 3 days on the road so I better start catching up with XP and 2 km egg grind ASAP.

and nothing directly from the manufacturerer of the game.... all 3rd party sites....websites that talk about other games i have never heard of

what do these games i have never heard of have to do with pokemon go?

talking about things held back from release....how do they know what the manufacturer intends to release in future updates/patches? DO they work for niantec?

As far as i know 80 pokemon were released from the johto region... that is all the update said. Where is all this other "information" coming from?
