Holy ****, one of the gyms near my house which has been blue since November has just turned red. Gonna have to stick a Pokemon in there and hope it lasts for a similar time.

I don't have great defenders though. My only good defender is my only dragonite and I don't like putting him in gyms

I assume lickitung is part of this promotion, since I saw 3 today and have only seen 1 or 2 the rest of the time I've played the gamw. Jigglypuffs were everywhere, but didn't see any chanseys or clefairy lineage.

Cuz porygon is pink, although he's not rare around here I have like 20 of them. Give me an ekans dammit! Never even seen one of those which is pretty crazy.

But naw for the event I'll be thrilled if I get a chansey

Extra porygon is nice as I have hatched one and that's it. Will give me a chance to earn some candies for porygon 2

How in the world can you make it past level 5 without seeing an ekans? What the hell spawns around you that doesn't include them?

Ekans spawns loads in hot climates. LA/LV was full of them, nonexistent in London.

It's so weird I'm in southern Ontario and level 26, never seen an ekans. 2 of my friends who still play here haven't either. Other than that spawns are the usual suspects

Also I haven't read, the gen 2 babies are still only in eggs right? Like this went won't have cleffas in the wild?

They've changed what Pokémon come out of each egg. Nidorans, eggsecutes, krabbys, machops, ekans and more are now gonna come out of 2km eggs, pinsir, scyther and onix now come out of 5km eggs

That's good news for future 10kms

I wonder if this means more gen2 will be released soon and put into the 10km eggs?

Kinda wish I had seen this earlier, it was very nice out today and I could have spent a few hours in DC and picked up some additional Chansey and Porygon. As it is I won't have another day off with good weather (tomorrow is supposed to suck) until this expires. Ah well. Can drive around the mall at night and maybe grab some. I don't strictly need them but Porygon and Chansey are rare and while I have enough to evolve at least one when Gen 2 drops I'll want more eventually.

Looks like they straight up removed a bunch of Pokémon from eggs overall. Hopefully this is an indicator of Gen2 soon.

Looks like they've removed jynx, electabuzz, clefairy, pikachu jigglybuff and magmar so basically the evolved forms of the baby Pokemon. Makes sense I guess
