Yeah, fixing Machamps is almost certainly one of the best possible uses for a tm. Its suboptimal moves are pretty terrible, and its perfect move set is extremely useful. Fixing Golems to be rock throw / stone edge in advance of the legendary raids that should be coming is also a good idea (they're also good at current raids). After them, it's probably tyranitars.

Wow, that's a lot better than random, because then it's 100% you get the right move for a fast move, and it's 50-50 for a charge move.

Also, I went ahead and used my charge TM on my 100% IV golem that had been rock throw/rock blast. I picked up stone edge, yeah baby, and then I leveled him from 20 to 30 to now be one of my most used 'mons.

Yeah I used a charged tm on one of my machamps. Heavy slam -> dynamic punch, finally got a good machamp.

I'm pretty sure that my first charged TM will go on a Rhydon. I have 3 of those and all of them have Megahorn as their charge move.

Soloed a Tier-3 today, Machamp. Time ran down pretty close to the wire (probably had like 6 seconds left or so), but I wasn't in danger of losing all of my team. I ran with 2 DT/H Dragonites (3100+ and 3300+), 2 Espeons (2500+ and 2700+), and 2 C/PSY Exeggcutors (2500+ and 2700+). One Espeon wasn't rockin' a great moveset (Pysbeam).

I think one of my game goals will be to knock off all the Tier-3 mons solo.

Ok, I am holding two gyms now for 3 days or so and somebody is refeeding those minions berries... nobody cares to take down a full arena, so I will never get any berrie at all? wtf this is just broken somehow. The rest of the gyms in town is blue and taking one down does take forever and if you do, they will usually retake them <1hour..

I had a guy in a gym for 2 1/2 days but when he finally was removed I only got 50 coins. Shouldn't it have been 150, 50 for each day? Or is it just 50 on the day he's removed? He was the only Pokemon I had in a gym since the gym change.

Anyway, I caught a mareep last night that put me over 100, getting me sufficient to fill out everything in my Pokedex except for unown, kangashkan, heracross, and farfetch'd. Not really going to sweat the unown, as they seem to be exceedingly rare, and there doesn't seem to be anything you can do to increase your chances of finding one. Caught 234, Seen 236.

What's the max number your dex can get without any legendary/regionals? I think I find myself getting close to that. At 229/234 and currently have three more that I will eventually get via evolution (final forms of Mareep, Totodile and Pineco).

I am at 234 without unown, and I have Mr Mime, Tauros, and Corsola, so, 232, but I think everyone should be able to get at least one regional.

Lol, take some overseas trips imo. Turns out they are good for more than just Pokémon brags. But also hunt the Pokémon while you are there.

After a trip to Victoria TX yesterday, I am now at 235 caught in my pokedex. Trip highlight was a 89 IV wild caught Heracross that I rerolled into Counter/Close-Combat. He was like level 28 when I caught him too, so I didn't have to pump him up a whole lot to get him ready to supplement my Machamp army.
