don't know about anything fully using it, but I imagine either a life based DoT build or life based 2h crit build would love it, so as a 3-stat jewel it should go for a bunch.

Welp, time to accept the fact that I'm just bad at video games and switch to SC forever. Pretty sure I'll get bored with it much easier, but at least I won't be repeatedly RIPing away hours of my life before even getting to late-game content.

Is there a better way to find gear while leveling? I just started Act 6 and haven't really been finding any gear upgrades through the last couple acts. I think I upgraded my chest, which I was just based on thinking it had better stats than my last gear.

Part of the problem is that I feel like I can't find the right gear with the right amount of sockets and colors. I'm seeing most white and blue items dropping, but when a yellow does drop, it's a stupid shield.

People in chat said to save currency, which makes sense, but I definitely am starting to feel the increased difficulty creeping in.

Should I just keep going at it and let the gear come when it does? Or am I not thinking about something about the crap gear that drops consistently?

I felt the same way. Part of the excitement of HC is that there's always that rush of dying. I switched to SC, which allows me to see the game and learn more. With my current character, I think I've died 3 times. I just want to play and see the end game. I'm still having fun. I don't find it a cheap way to play the game.

trade is your best bet for leveling gear tbh. especially unique weapons are cheap and typically a huge boost.

for sockets you can trade but chromes and jewellers are pretty common (do the chrome recipe) and fusings are sorta valuable but that's just how it is

Pretty sick reward from a Void card.

I had about 1.5K hours in before I switched away from HC and in that time, I barely mapped outside of SC standard. I'm around 3.1K now. Switching to SC has made a huge difference, I can not imagine going back. Being able to min-max the character is way more fun than the feeling you get from almost dying. Your learning progression is way slower on HC.

Getting through Act 10 in a new league and never once finding Haku feels like a pretty bad beat.

I'm not all the way through act 8 yet. Admittedly I don't have a whole lot of time to play, but still. Pretty slow. I'm beginning to think you HC -> SC converts are having a point. I'm scared ****less most of the time.

I'm running a new super expensive op build and still get messed up by the new bosses. No idea how to do that bullet hell/laser one in Act 5. Guess I've no Korean blood in me.

I 'm sure if you run them enough you learn the patterns better, but I can't be bothered going through Acts 1-4 to do it.

I have to confess, due to sucking but still playing hardcore, I "cheated" on a few bosses. One of them is the "bullet hell/laser" one. He almost tore me to shreds. That's when I did some googling before going back in.

Im going to be playing PoE on Xbox when it releases Thursday and cannot figure out a build. I would like a very simple build/guide to follow along with for my first character. I got Engineering Eternities Sunder build up to level 50 on the beta so I don't really want to use that again. Anyone have any suggestions?

there are millions of options, every subforum on the poe site in classes section has compilation of up to date builds, just look for beginner friendly/budget builds and see what looks interesting. If you have any preferences let us know and someone will suggest something better.
