Still no release date for xbone?

i'm afraid i might have to sit this season out. in the middle of finding a new job and relocating across country. sucks when life gets in the way of more important things.

I've never done Atziri, or any of the hyper-endgame bosses ever. I pretty much suck at this game, but I just can't bring myself to play SC. I tried it a few times with the same "let's see everything" intention but I just stop caring. Maybe one day I'll just get lucky. I doubt it, though. In fact, I fully expect to not see all ten acts for a while, until I have figured out all the quirks of all the bosses, and their bull**** mechanics.

In case it isn't obvious, this isn't in the slightest a dig at people who play softcore.

My first 600 hours in the game were hc only. I just don't have that time anymore.

As I've avoided looking into any of the 3.0 stuff, I'm honestly starting to feel a bit overwhelmed already when I see Youtubers or posts on reddit talking about new skills and the like.

Not really a bad thing at all, but definitely think I'm going to take this season slow, rather than a stressful race to the endgame like the last two have been. Will be playing some new builds for me, and am almost tempted to give SSF a go. Still going to be a SC scrub though...

SSF is great fun although just for one league imo.

If you play SC and want to invest in me to start the league to grow your wealth, i am always looking for currency early on. Your currency will be returned with insane interest.

If/when I rip ill pass you everything I have, I cannot stand SC, just for the sheer fact the economy and global chat is aids. (My guild is HC also, so added bonus)

I have the week off, so will be putting some serious time into this, currently doing decently in Beta, but will no doubt 100% rip on Act 9-10 first time around.

Have been playing around with SRS/Baron builds, seems to be the go-to starter for decent surviability and MF. Im dreading seeing the prices of the baron helm the first few days, probably just going to aim for a +2 bone helm, until they come down to 6-7c.

Whats your starter build going to be Robik? (Im really tempted to try that lightning warp MS build, but I think it will require decent MS as well as QOTF to operate as expected, doubt its starter friendly)

I mean league sc, not standard. but i guess i can accept standard stuff too.

i have no idea what my starting build will be. i will probably grind out the market for the first 2 weeks, accumulate like 1000ex and figure out what is most OP.

ill be feverishly reading patch notes for a good duelist/marauder hardcore starting build, if there is no new OP/easy starting thing ill probably go ancestral warchief berserker.

Will try to hopefully survive for about a week and make a ton of early hc $$$ then switch to something more OP for meeps

I'm playing SC, I'll hook you up with early currency. Still trying to figure out what I am going to start with.

Finally get to play this game via Xbox. Beta is out and I got to level 10 on a Witch last night. Had a blast. No idea what I'm doing though.

I want to find/make some build that benefits from obscure stats, so as to get cheap/cheaper 4 stat jewels. Maybe something like traps, or minions...though minions will probably be expensive with SRS being popular in 3.0.

the obscure stat jewels are always super expensive because most people vendor them and only the people who know what they're good for will price them and they'll price them high.

Found this out the hard way when looking for dex/mines/aoe/dmg jewels for my lab runner

Look for videos of Mathil, or other streamers' cheap 3.0 starter builds.

Then don't do these.

Anyone have a build suggestion for a complete beginner? I just got into the Xbox beta and got a fire witch to level 20. I want to make another melee or ranger type character

I'm not at all a console gamer, but a lot of the game mechanics seem they would be hard to replicate for a controller. I'll be interested to see how it goes.

For example, a common starter is Ancestral Warchief as it's cheap and scales well. However, I can't see it working too well on a console.

So what happens with the legacy characters when the new stuff comes out this week

I believe they all transition over to their respective permanent league. All of your stash tabs will also be added to the perm leagues, but you can only remove items from them, so they are temporary stash tabs.

I find myself with analysis paralysis when it comes to choosing a league starter. I like the straight-forwardness of ancestral warchief, but fb totems would be nice since you don't have to be close to them.

Part of me wants to play ED, so I suppose I can consider witch fb totems -> ED.

Yeh I want to play something different, but AW is such a great starter, and I actually really enjoy the playstyle.

Thinking I might experiment with my own sunder character, as that should always be able to respec pretty easily to AW if I suck.

Just downloaded Path of Building for 3.0. Time to start tinkering.
