I would like to announce to the world that I am now possibly good enough at Mercy to one day reach a positive win rate with her. Only took 25 hours

I'm 0-5 with Lucio and 10-18 with Hanzo... they are my favorite toons.

7-3 with the dwarf... 15-14 with soldier. I think they boring.

I've been reading a lot about the pros and their sensitivity. Some of these numbers so incredibly low it's hard to believe.

I've been a poker pro forever and my sensitivity is sky high so that I don't have to move my arm around the desk to click. I understand the desire for accurately, but it feels like in such a fast paced game having the ability to react is important.

idk they all work and practice a lot so I guess they figured out what they like, just shocks me.

Maybe I'll try it out as well see how it goes. More people are recommending it so must be some truth in it. Same like you, Working on two highres screens more sensitivity = productivity, but might be different for a bad like me in a shooter.

You shouldn't use as low a sens as the Quake & CS players use, because they're rarely in situations where they have to spin 180 degrees. That happens a lot in Overwatch, so you need somewhere inbetween. Having a large mouse mat helps, but you need to be able to easily swing around 2-3 times in the space you have.

I've ended up using sens 1, 5400 DPI, but I don't exactly have the world's best aim.

I've seen on yt that you should a sensitivity that allows you to be able to swing around once.

Struggling to stay above 40% with Hanzo. Lol.

People get soooo salty when I ignore their pleas to switch, especially when I am the second Hanzo.

A lot of quake pros use a low sensitivity along with the mouse acceleration that is built into quake which you can't do in overwatch unless you use a special mouse driver to replicate quake's accel settings. Personally I'm still waiting for blizzard to allow fractional sensitivities ... For me 11 is too slow and 12 is a bit too fast.

My mouse drivers let me set DPI, so fractional sensitivity works there.

It's a team game.

I think the only time someone shouldn't switch from non-tank/healer is when they're learning a new character, and even then they should seriously consider it.

Do you mean swing around 180 degrees or 360 deg?

he must mean 180

my set up is really bad. I don't like making huge arc type of movements with my mouse so i've always played w a higher sensitivity than recommended.
