I'm not sure if it's a bug or just something I didn't notice before.

I was Roadhog. My ult charge just got to 100. As soon as I pressed Q, I died. But my ult charge didn't stay at 100 (as if I never pressed Q) or go to 0 (as if I did press Q), it went back to 62%.

I've never noticed that before, probably because I've never died right when I ulted with Roadhog before.

It's always been that way, but it used to happen a lot more slowly. It's because your meter doesn't go straight to zero when you ult, it takes half a second to do so.

PSA for Nexus Challenge:

Sylvanas is absolutely amazing at pushing beginner AIs. Get to Nexus by level 11~13 if you got ranged DPS helping you out just crushing mid lane.

I'm Reaper, we just get a team wipe and I'm at 22 health. I hit the "I need healing" button. Mercy comes up right next to me, says hello, and walks away.

I get on the mic and ask what's up. He says he's trying to get funny content for his youtube channel, so he's just playing as battle Mercy. I die and he says, "well, I'm still resurrecting people" and rez's me right next to Tracer, who immediately pulse bombs me.

Saddest part (for the other team)? We actually won the game.

That actually might have been kind of amusing if he didn't explain why he did what he did.

I played a little bit this morning, actually had a good session. I had two games in a row, though, where I was on a team with the same toxic player. He was actually pretty good, just a dickhead. And then he got other guys to respond, so two or three players each game were just talking **** the whole time. We won both games, but it was not fun.

I reported them for abusive chat, but I did realize one person I reported was not an offender. I should see if I can find a Blizzard customers service e-mail to tell them.

Have others experienced/have theories explaining the phenomenon where competitive games on the weekend are significantly worse (e.g., more griefers, leavers, etc.)?

My guess would be that those folks are over-ranked (their behavior hasn't yet stabilized into a lower SR) but who knows.

People who play during offpeak hours probably take the game more seriously, and they probably like the game a lot more, without necessarily being better.

It's possible that the people playing on weekends only play on weekends, so aren't as serious about the game.

Also, as a reminder, today is the last day of the Uprising event. Last chance to get uprising loot boxes.

I had 8000+ coins, so I splurged and bought the Mercy and Genji skins.

I was able to get the Orisa, Torb (blue one), and Rein skins from loot boxes earned during the event.

Interestingly, the Soldier and Reaper skins you get with the Origins edition are essentially Uprising skins.

Out of curiosity, I pulled up Twitch to check out an Overwatch stream. The OCD part of me is getting very upset that the person I'm watching has nearly 300 unopened loot boxes.

Then again, I have thousands of unread e-mails in my inbox.

I had heard warnings that I should buy the skins I want before the end of the day because Blizzard doesn't announce when the event ends. So I bought the Mercy and Widow skins I wanted.

Turns out that the advice was correct and they randomly turned off Uprising boxes earlier today.

But then they changed their mind and turned it back on for an unspecified period of time (though you can't play the PvE anymore). So of course I win 3 arcade matches, open a loot box, and get the Mercy skin. Sweet 200 coins for opening a duplicate!

Surprisingly, Mercy is now the most popular healer at every level below master. In fact, she's the most popular character overall at every level below master. And even at master, she has a > 50% pick rate. While Mercy has always been popular at lower ranks, she was < 10% pick rate at GM level in season 3. Now, she's 30% at GM level.

Winstreaked the account I bought to play with my friends on up to 3880 today. Was getting > 70 points a game til we lost. Feels good, except now I'm 700 points above one of the two friends I play with the most and can't play with him. Oops.

Highest SR I've ever had, hopefully can hit GM sometime soon.
