Overwatch (New Blizzard Franchise - FPS ) - Page 10 - Video Games

It's definitely useful. Still dies pretty fast to Genji, and you can almost always hit the wall without having to expose yourself to the Bastion.

One of the competitive games I saw had 2 Bastions, 2 Reinhardts and 2 Widows all sitting on top of the payload. It was quite funny, though seems to me that they could've gone 6 Genji still, or set up their own Bastion/Reinhardt wall with 2 Bastions & 4 Reinhardts instead.

I was watching a competitive match yesterday where a bastion went on a 20 kill streak and the other team started counterpicking and still couldn't stop him

That's competitive play though, my question was more directed at pubstomping where cooperation is minimal to none. I hope in ladder more people use mics because i only came across one other guy that had one and the quality was ****.

It's only been 4 hours and i have withdrawals :/ gonna be a long two weeks

My favorites from the beta from each class:

McCree: being able to blast down even the tankiest heroes from close range is so fun.

Roadhog : I had more fun in the earlier beta when people sucked a lot more and I could land 70% hooks. Still pretty fun.

Lucio : Multi dimensional and more durable/mobile than the others. Haven't quite gotten ult usage timing down properly.

Only used 2 defense heroes (bastion, hanzo) who are so far apart on difficulty scale that I can't really choose. I guess junkrat would be fun too.

Lucio is one of the sturdiest heroes and his damage isn't awful. I have been using him when we need a support and i don't want to play mercy.

If you only ever use Lucio's ultimate when you are storming the objective or when you hear an enemy ultimate go off, you won't go too wrong.

Had a blast playing this game this past weekend as well. I will most likely buy on the 24th.

The character I hated playing against the most was Genji. That reflect would just own me. I would react by stopping my gunfire at him, but then he would just rush me down. So far the best counter strategy I came up with is to just try to be around at least 1 other teammate. Therefore, if I had stop shooting against him, then at least my teammate could fire at him.

Pretty sure that's not how it works, unless your teammate is behind the Genji.

game was pretty fun. It still feels incomplete though and it felt lacking in terms of game modes such as capture the flag, team deathmatch, search and destroy etc. really hated playing against reinhartd + bastion combos on payload and just hate playing against reinhardt in general. I hate giving blizzard money just because their games are not anywhere near the sc1, d2, and war3 days and I'm dissapointed by sc2, and d3 but this game was a lot more fun that expected.

Bastion + Reinhardt combo is definitely mega annoying. On one map (I'm terrible with names, but the one with the clocktower) I managed to flank the pair as Lucio and knock the reinhardt off the spot with my alternate attack, then myself (and I think a teammate) killed the unprotected Bastion.

I had a lot of fun with Hanzo. Getting those one shots on a full health target was so satisfying. Also super nice to get point blank kills with the spray/ricochet shot. I would bait so many Reapers in and shoot the ground right in front of them. Could get massive damage on a tank character doing this too. Also getting those bank shot kills around corners was sweet.

When I had a healer behind me I felt unstoppable.

after thinking about it I may or may not play it on release depending on RL friends :O

6v6 with 5 friends could be a lot of fun. Cant imagine just opening the game and randomly playing alone for hours though, which is the most likely scenario...

Perhaps I'm easy to please, but I thought Diablo 3 and Heroes of the Storm were both great (although I didn't play HotS until about 6 months after its initial release).

i think D3 improved a lot but it started off really weak (and still mad about no PvP fsdnkafsdgbhbkhfsdagfdsa)

I like Hots even if its a very basic moba.

The characters and abilities are amazing if you know them from other games.

New hero being announced monday, rumors are it's "Sombra" who is a "support sniper" however the hell that's supposed to work. Seems like that'd be really OP or super terrible.
