Stuntman! You must acquire this game.

Easy to learn and have fun with, if you get really into it it's also a very deep game with a lot of nuance.

Plus more to it than just quick twitch reflexes like a lot of first person shooters.

How long does a typical match usually last?

In quickplay, probably under 10 minutes. In competitive, 15-20 sounds about right to me.

Believe it or not, the average competitive match length is 13 mins. Some have the potential to go for 3x as long though.

I've never had a game over 25 minutes

I feel like I've had some on Oasis go 30+.

Sometimes the huge map can go through an entire cycle of ults before anyone caps the point.

Hi whats the eco model for this game?
Is it a complete game or do you have to buy heroes and gear?

It's a complete game. I think you can buy in game currency for skins/custom stuff, but none of it affects game performance.

Blizzard did a great job with that. You get everything when you buy the game and there is nothing left to buy ever. All updates, characters, etc., are included. There are no special weapons to get. XP is just for fun, not for making you more powerful.

The only purchase options are for purely cosmetic items.

It's the first AAA-priced game I've purchased in years (and I was fortunate to get a good price) and it has been immensely worth it.

I wish I could see my time spent with the overwatch game open. I have gotten so many hours out of this game.

Hadn't played competitive in a while, but had some time today, so gave it a go.

Lost all five games. That will hurt the SR a bit. One day, one day I'll get to platinum.

It shows it in the stats screen somewhere, no?

I've spent over 200 dollars to buy boxes during special events to get skins but the game is otherwise complete.

None of that LoL spend an ungoldly number of hours or a hundred bucks to get your starter rune/character/mastery pack that allows to compete fairly.

It has hours played/total hours on different heroes... but I don't think anywhere that shows all the queuing + assembling? I may be wrong.

I'm no expert but one thing I learned while playing tracer is to never engage with someone facing you at all. never trade blows no matter how close they are to dying. get in as much damage as you can and as soon as they react, get behind them again or out

really good tracers can kill people left and right but I think it's also important to realize the value of diverting the team's attention in a different direction

I'll give a top tip - absolutely do not do this!

You want your flashes fully charged for an engagement to a) one to reposition sideways / throw off their aim while reloading the first clip /finish them off, but primarily b) to gtfo and disengage with multiple flashes if necessary.

Most importantly tho, flashing in to engage gives a huge audio tell (with accurate position!) to your target. With the speed Tracer can empty a clip you want the surprise to be an incoming hail of bullets, not your initial approach.

So basically this - flash to get in to sneaky position / behind enemy lines or whatever. Wait for full charges or at least 2/3. Close distance to enemy walking, out of sight. Shoot / flash / Shoot / flash flash flash.

Flash to close distance is great when you're going to sticky bomb them though
