irunworse, I had the same problem after pre-downloading it, un-installing and re-downloading fixed it for me.

That sucks, other than updating steam, video and sound drivers and directx and reinstalling it doesnt seem like anyone has any other suggestions.

Player roles is such a huge improvement realism-wise over the overly-fussy sliders.

finished my scheduled friendlies, might add another or two to stay fit before the season

current formation

only gripe I have so far is that Ive accepted several transfer bids for players I want to get rid of but the other teams board has cancelled the transfer from going through at the end due to "setting their sights on other targets." Not a huge deal though since I can cancel last minute as well, more just a personal annoyance.

why the hell do Wielaert and Ogararu (and Kennedy) start?

That was after my last preseason match so I was playing some subs, I usually play Gabri over kennedy, stekelenburg over vermeer, and van der wiel over ogararu. Wielaert has played well though so hes staying in the first 11.

I'm doing a much worse job than Chris Hughton atm, although I did manage to beat Man U in the League Cup qtr-finals I'm 14 points from the top in the middle of december

ended up selling 12.5M worth of players and bringing in no one, off to a somewhat disappointing start in league play with a 2-1 road loss to psv and a home draw to sparta, at 10 points through 5 games.
