beta extended until Monday, new gameplay tuner

Now we wait for 5 weeks. Beta was a blast and as long as they fix the problems EASHL should be great.

How many 2p2ers will be playing EASHL for PS4? We may have to do some recruiting if it's only going to be 3 or 4 regulars.

beta for xb1 still out? or demo or whatever? im sure ill get this for xb1 when it comes out but i reallly hope you can freaking play online with friends. it is so gd stupid they took that out of the game. (any word on that?)

100% IN for EASHL on PS4. Didn't play with any 2p2ers in the past I don't think but do have plenty of experience. Fine playing wherever.

Felt like in the beta everything was a cluster**** down low and in front of the crease, you really have to feed the points not necessarily for shots but to spread out the defense and open things up back down low

That's because getting any kind of pass through where the lane isn't wide open was a crapshoot at best in the beta. Everybody seems to have a 10 foot radius around their player where they deflect any passes regardless of whether they're actually in position to make a play. I mean, I like that you can read a passing play and break it up consistently but the trade off seems to be that guys who aren't facing the puck or are even reading the play can break up plays that they have no business defending. I thought it discouraged creative passing by forcing everybody to just opt for the safest passes all the time instead of ever trying to get one through any kind of traffic.

But all in all I thought the beta was a step in the right direction and NHL15 feels really arcadey by comparison.

Gain the zone, cycle, involve the dmen, have them fire shots past my head as I muck it up in the crease for screens and tips - this is how I butter my bread.
