Bought a Ps3 for 2011, so pretty excited for this. This is probably the only sports game they could just give me better rosters and a few new animations and I wouldnt bitch. Theres some leaked gameplay on youtube channels if anyone wants to watch.

Re: MLB12 The Show

Supposedly the game is "actually" designed to use Playstation Move this year. If that is good I'll probably buy this again. If not I may pass. I've played it the last 3 years. I'll wait for reviews of the motion controls (They'll probably suck, but I'm looking for a different experience than the same old same old).

Re: MLB12 The Show

I still love this series, but I really haven't seen many if any changes to The Show playing mode which is all I play. So unless that changes I might have to not purchase this for once.

Can you still do roster updates on older games?

Too bad we still can't bring over players from previous games. I still have six years left on my contract in MLB11 and I'm not quitting that player until he retires.

Same here. Also, I'd like to actually play one my players to the end of his career in RTTS mode which I haven't done in the past (I get them to superstar level and several years into their career by the time the next game comes out but have yet to finish 15+ seasons with someone, I'm around 10 seasons each with both my hitter and pitcher in MLB '11 right now and would like to actually finish their careers). I would snap buy if I could import their careers into the new game.

I love this series, and it is the only reason I bought PS3, and the only games I own are different years of the show, but I might skip this year.

Although it almost would be worth playing the game just to watch the Marlins new homerun celebration:
