I can confirm jumping. As soon as I stick my head into a mine, there are about a hundred cave spiders jumping right on me.

I really hate cave spiders. And why aren't they switched off when other mobs are off? And also - I hate cave spiders.

Against my better judgement I put a chest of slimeballs in front of the penis tree at spawn. I separated them into stacks of 16. You only need 1 slimeball to make a sticky piston so be cool and leave the rest for others.

Hehe...the only thing better than a penis tree is a slimy penis tree. Hope there's a little goo left when I get there.

@David yes and it saves a LOT of time. i use diamonds for all tools and honestly if you are mining you are likely to find more diamonds then you use up.

My idea for when 1.9 comes out is to have 2 warps. One will be the 1.8 spawn at 0,0 and the other will be the "1.9 spawn" at 2000,2000 or whatever we pick. Thoughts?

New map for 1.9 imo.
