I figured that having that ledge there was a bad idea, and completely forgot to post the sign I was going to leave at the top of your hole. I've enclosed the tunnel so anyone diving won't land on anything but water (even if it does mar the perfection of my minecart track!).

Didn't touch the diving board: that just sounds diabolical.

Given that you can set your own spawn point- there's really no need (unless you want to) to even build within like a Minecraft day of people. Walk a whole bunch, throw down a bed and then stay out of eachother's way.

When I joined my server, it was a huge point of frustration for me, 'cause I felt like I could never find a good spot to build without running into other people's ****- so I finally just went way north of everybody else (this was pre-bed spawn too) so I could be clear.

Yeah 86 and I were building over there but we've kinda moved on. We were getting bored w/ just the creative stuff and found a cool server called "thebattlecraft".

No destroying what others built, but also there is no way to lock chests and pvp is allowed everywhere except the main trading town.

There are various donation levels which give you some cool stuff. (not gamebreaking if you don't have it). Well maybe, you get /spawn /home after you donate $10 pretty annoying playing without those.

The entire idea of the server is raiding other people's bases for their chests.

somebody filled the exit out of the spawn with cobblestone.. i dug it out(sorry if that was put there on purpose)

Just got Terraria yesterday. Have to say I enjoy it a lot more than minecraft. So much more to do, plus so many more enemies and there are even boss battles.

i did craft a silver bow though which is really good. also got a breathing reed so I can swim a bit longer

so much fun stuff to do in this game..i think it deserves its own thread

I still like having people in the same world doing things. Building in a totally empty world (I did a lot of SP to start) just felt weird and pointless. For me, MP is more about having a community to share stuff with, both in and out of game.

Mostly though- avoiding being really close to people just makes it easier to build and expand. At this point my area alone is almost as big as the whole "city" where most people built on my server.

Needs more cobble and wood imo...j/k awesome stuff man. There are whole servers that don't have as much stuff as you have in your complex.

I've been wanting a backup copy of it anyway- maybe I'll see if I can do it.

A few people have asked about my server, it's private and for a group of RL friends (and I don't run it) so joining it isn't really an option.
