I wonder how many of these were built legitimately vs. using an editor? Still impressive with an editor but not nearly as much.

I'm impressed by ones like the dome, or any place where somebody's made something round out of a world of blocks. The ones that obviously took a lot of planning and weren't easy to execute.

Some of the rest, esp the obv editor driven ones, not as much.

The dome was done with worldedit.

Pretty much any sphere is done in worldedit.

Do other people on the 2+2 server have problems with the underground stuff rendering and a large lag for the above ground stuff to catch up?

Yeah I do. When I go underground it's like a bluish-purple background and when I'm outside I can see inside of buildings or I can see through the ground and see where all the caves and lava are.

One time I was standing in Megloo's movie theater area before the theater was done and I was standing next to a huge hole, like it was 20x20, all the way down to bedrock. I could see where the lava was, waterfalls, gold/iron deposits, coal, etc. I thought Megloo had dug it all out. haha Then I went outside and there was another one. It was scary because I thought I would fall if I walked too close. Then I restarted the game and it was gone.

^classic missing block chunk. It even happens to the best of us.

the ****? started building my new place yesterday, nothing was around it, not all windows added yet but everything in the picture was done yesterday.. I get on today and someone built a cobblestone castle one block away blocking that side of the house from seeing anything.. wtf

Im building a castle inbetween the town around the spawn and eighty6s palace

My deepest apologies sir. Don't know what to suggest. If you want I will move your house. If i'm honest I started building a redstone arrow defence system then added a castle without seeing you built that new building then saw it and was like fufufufufufu.

We will sort something out no worries.

We need more people with the power of making it day, or an autoday feature when admins aren't on.

No big deal, just a few small things I came across today, mostly unintentional I would guess, but the first my stuff/areas have been messed with and found it all at once which made me a little tilted...First I found a minecart track going through the edge of my super high dive hole, which is fine, but they placed smooth stone blocks such that if you were to jump down, you could land on the stone and die instead of hitting water. Then saw someone dug up a bunch of sand in front of the diving pool and just left a ditch with some random cobble and dirt blocking the water. Both of those I can excuse as whatever, but then I noticed that someone built the super high diving board way longer than before, such that if you were to jump off it, you would not land in water. I mean it just took a couple of secs to fix, but was certainly intentional...who builds on other people's stuff?

im guessing its the same person who placed random blocks around the spawn. wasnt "griefing" as such, just a little odd aha

This sounds like the same guy who visited me - I had a glass bridge over lava and someone thought it would be funny to remove some of the glass so people just walked straight into the lava. Would've been a bit funny if it hadn't cost me a couple of diamonds and a ton of wool that I had collected...

He also set up a workbench and chopped down a tree in my garden - which isn't a big deal obviously, but kinda annoying to have happen in a walled in garden.
