I collect a decent amount of gunpowder just running around the surface at night...and I'd agree with Dids that its not an uber rare drop. Well...when you kill them before they explode, anyway. Arrows ftw.

Hey guys, Im fairly new to the game, but I noticed somebody on a video I watched playing with a mini-ap in the upper right corner. I researched and found out its a mod called Zan's minimap. However, when I go to the minecraft site and download the minimap and the modloader, it causes my game to crash. Does anyone know if this works with verzion 1.5.1, and if so, how the hell I fix this?

I feel stupid for asking this but how exactly do you get wood? I walked up to a tree and must have clicked my left mouse button about 30 times in a row and nothing happened. Any ideas?

Holding down the button shouldn't be a problem unless I'm misunderstanding something. When I'm logging or mining, I hold the button down and just move the mouse often.

i dont mind hosting one, but i have a dynamic IP which changes daily so that can be slightly annoying, may be better if someone with a static IP does it?

ok i made one, the IP is 2.98.175.33

like i said it changes daily, so if the server becomes active enough i will post the IP itt when it changes, or we could make a skype group or w/e

Ya the daily changing of the ip is what sucks imo.. Thats why I never go on your server as I hate bothering your for the ip every time I fire up Minecraft

dont worry, you're not bothering me.

i looked into making a static IP but i read a lot of people mess up and cause problems with their internet connection, so id rather not take the risk until i know more about it.

I used that when I used to run an Ultima Online server.

It allows you to give people a static IP that will automatically track your dynamic IP. Very useful for solving the problem you have, and it's free.

If I remember correctly, you just need to set up an account with the website and run the little program on your computer.

It's been probably 7 years since I've used it, so I'm not 100% sure.
