I played a fair bit over the course of several years. Never used a mod besides texture packs which I don't think you are talking about.

You missed an entirely different game.

Any interest in playing on a Better Than Wolves server? I was building a vanilla server for my daughter and her friends, but now they play some werewolf/villager/thief mod.

I don't plan on being on all that much, and BTW can be difficult solo (and can be more difficult MP if someone is going out exploring and getting all the animals killed), but I figured I'd gauge interest

I've recently been playing a ton of Minecraft VR. A couple observations:

The immersion is best when standing and able to turn and move your arms around. But my legs get tired after a few hours. I may try a chair from my dining room table to see if it provides more freedom of movement.

The adrenaline rush of playing iron-man while exploring/semi-lost in a cave is not for the cardiac weak.

I need to play in a cool/cold room because the headset generates heat and sweat really really makes VR suck.

Sometimes I get caught up with just admiring the landscape or sunset. I am routinely amazed how beautiful it looks.

As a quick aside, I understand Skyrim VR is also completely amazing. I hope hope it is part of the Steam summer sale.

This is the main reason why I don't use my rift as much as I should - it gets uncomfortably hot even when sitting still with it. About half an hour and the heat starts getting very noticeable.

I suspect my headset gets warmer than it should as I would think there'd be a lot more complaints about this if mine is representative for all the sets.

I use it alot for VR boxing. Had an issue with the headset being way too sweaty after a session to be used the rest of the night, then used:

And it solved that issue. Never had a problem with it getting too hot (although I've not used it during summer), but if sweating is causing your headset to fog up, then the sweatband should help alot.

ps: Skyrim VR has to be one of the top 3 things I've done on my Rift - just make sure you install as many mods as your computer can handle.
