Loving this game- totally addicted.

Play on a server with some friends. This was originally two cliffs that I totally hollowed out and the built up to make what ended up as an office complex or something. I'm less into the building **** with redstone and more just making a base.

Here's some other stuff people on the server have done.

Server from about a month ago.

My latest project is a space program. Uses over 5 stacks of TNT per launch. Preliminary testing sends someone over 100 blocks high. Will post youtube video eventually if I get over 4fps when it all explodes.

you gotta know someone with a server and let them put you on the whitelist. Search a few forums, you will find plenty of servers.

New update today.

Biggest addition is WOLVES. If you tap one with a bone you can tame them and they'll follow you. They're supposed to be rare, but I had like 6 show up right next to my complex.

But I'd just died and had no bones.

Also now if you sleep in a bed it sets that bed as your spawn point, even in multiplayer. HUGE.

So I scored a wolf after a few attempts. Kinda useful to farm pigs, but mostly just bumps into you and makes noise. He eventually died because he kept running into cactus. Stupid wolf.

havent played in a long time. some cool new stuff, esp beds. it keeps crashing on me though, 3 times in 2,5 hours. had an, for a lack of a better word, epic diamond run going finding them left and right in a particulary rich cavern. im in the middle of extinguishing a lava pond to get to some more and it stops responding. restart and im all of a sudden in the middle of the lava, burning to a quick death. 21 diamonds gone + 7 diamonds from my gear. worst beat i took all day.

You cant play on full distance in MP because of memory issues. Even on a top-of-the-line comp.

Is this something that's come up with the most recent update? I only ask because I play MP with full draw distance...and my computer is far from top of the line.

If you're on a 64 bit machine, make sure you get the 64 bit version of java. If not, turn your view distance down to 'normal' if it is on 'far' - pretty much every repeated crash-issue I and my friends have had have been fixed by one of these.

32-bit, singleplayer. but i did set my render distance to the furthest before i played last night. back to being shortsighted i guess.
