Re: Mass Effect 3
In other news, I'm playing through again as an Infiltrator, a class I've never used. It was feeling a little tougher than playing as a Sentinel, but then I got my black widow. Now it feels like cheating, esp. when paired with Liara's stasis bubble. Phantoms? LOL!

Re: Mass Effect 3
started a new ME1 character as an infiltrator and its way more difficult than my original vanguard character, i basically have no good powers and the beginning sniper rilfes plus the extreme sway makes it really meh...i have to pop out shoot, go back to cover and just repeat that over and over for battles, its quite boring wishing i hadn't picked infiltrator. also teammates seem to really suck and combat as a whole is way different compared to 2 and 3, forgot how long it took for powers to recharge.

Re: Mass Effect 3
Yeah, started a new ME1 with soldier and male renegade sheppard - I've depended a lot on powers and wanted to see how it was focusing mainly on guns. I'll probably switch to something else for ME2 for my renegade run.

Re: Mass Effect 3
Indoctrination theory is very believable, but I agree with Wookie. Need to think about that a bit more.
If that theory is true, that is pretty elite from Bioware.
Also, that video helps me understand Illusive Man's glowing blue eyes at the end of ME2!

Re: Mass Effect 3
Thinking of another playthrough, but with MShep for the first time ever so I can check out different romance options. Has the voice actor got any better? I've watched clips comparing him and Jennifer Hale from ME1 and ME2 and he was so flat.

Thanks for the added info.
I really hope we aren't reading too much into all of this and are way off. It would be sick if this was biowares true story.

Re: Mass Effect 3
Looks like Bioware is releasing a new multiplayer pack on April 10 that includes at least one new map, new weapons, and new classes, including Geth, and a Krogan Vanguard. And it's free.

Re: Mass Effect 3
Started Turian Sentinel, having warp+overload is pretty baller for just about any challenge. Only thing that sucks is not being able to make evasive rolls, you can only run
Still haven't tried a krogan or an engineer

Re: Mass Effect 3
Some mechanics questions:
I play an adept. Does singularity only affect non shielded/armored/barriered units? It was super useful in the beginning of the game but now it barely does anything.
I mainly use warp and throw, but I have a hard time vs shielded and armored units. If I read the tooltip on warp, it says it is good against armor but I barely see the armor bar move.
Currently I run around with just two pistols, should I pick up a shotgun or an assault rifle as well?
