Their bots are awesome too on MTGO. I have started using them exlusively as their bots are super fast (instant searching etc.) and they always seem to have pretty competitive prices.

Any thoughts on the deck? Maybe UG is better? Looks so underpowered.
I hate that build. I think I'd go pure UB (Seacoast Drake is very good btw). Green doesn't really bring much, just Windstorm, some creatures and few ok removal. In exchange you sacrifice your manabase AND Quag Sickness+ Nightmare in sb.

Like you do plenty of playables in the pool, don't really see reason to go 3c.

Thanks, Josem. I'll use them if I have to but still would prefer to get them cheaper

I think you're probably right Anssi, I'll try something like that in sideboarded games.

I don't think Seacoast Drake is very good against the good decks (blue control decks), which is why it's in the sideboard. It might come in against certain deck though, for sure (regardless of if it's UB or UGb)

fwiw I don't feel like "plenty of playables" is good enough in a 10 round lolmodoptq, I feel like you have to have some serious power too, which is why I went with the bad mana base so I could play (almost) all removal. I'll try UB though.

Yeah Drake is weak-ish vs best decks but it pretty good vs everything else. I guess it is slightly worse in sealed than in draft. Well, even against blue it still stops all creatures that cost less than 5 except water elemental.

If we look at GP Prague undefeated decks, all but one is 2c
http://www.wizards.com/magic/magazin...ppra13/day1#17

And most of them aren't full of bombs (well every deck has 1+)

Like your pool is maybe slightly weaker than the top decks, but not by a lot.

Speaking of power level, just lost in round 3 against an RB deck with Chandra, Scourge of Valkas and Shadowborn Demon. Nice mythics!

So this is kind of silly but I need some ridiculous (but real) names of M:tG decks for an analogy. The less they have to do with the contents of the deck, the better.

Pickles.
Team USA (it is kinda funny how sometimes it is UWR, which kinda makes sense but is still really silly name, but other times it is some totally random legacy deck)

So it's a precursor or predecessor of $T4KS?

EDIT: Ah, google says it's a predecessor.

Do you really consider counterspell on divination a 2 for 1? I don't, but w/e.

Semantics really, but if countering divination isn't a 2 for 1, then casting wild ricochet on opportunity isn't a 9 for 1 (or whatever) either. I know you didn't claim it was, but that's the context of the discussion.

it's so amusing that 1 color gets a near monopoly on the 2 most broken mechanics

card draw
counterspells
card filtering is way up there as well

and for ****s and giggles they still get undercosted creatures as often as everyone else

There's a reason counterspells and card draw have gotten consistently worse over time while other mechanics have gotten consistently better.
