Whipflare seems like a good choice. Since I'm playing R/G Liquimetal Phoenix Wins, it wouldn't kill my own weaker dudes. Playset only costs about 0.5 tickets, so it seems like a really great deal for the price.

Rolling Temblor is another option for Geist. But in typical RG aggro metamorph or just blocking are the standard ways.

Can you use the packs for drafting?

i requested a 100 zombie cards and when i got them i cant use them in standard so i feel scammed cost me 5 tickets

Some, but pretty rarely. The best decks are either Vault-Key combo decks (occasionally run 1-2 Jace), Drain-Tendrils (DT) combo decks (no Jace), or Storm combo decks (no Jace). The aggro decks do OK if the players run hot at drawing their hate bears in multiple copies, but they are clearly worse than the blue decks.

DT is probably the best deck right now, which plays a lot like the old High Tide decks of the 90's. Intuition/AK + Mana Drain + Snapcaster Mage into some sort of lethal Tendrils with Hurkyl/Repeal/Rebuild is pretty strong.

EDIT: and yeah no one plays vintage, that was kinda the point

Ironically, the starter Planeswalker format on MTGO doesn't have them.

So what archetypes are people aiming for in cube tomorrow?

None, just going to time out on every pick because of the never-ending nostalgia.

Cmon people, so many replies and no one mentioned pauper.
Metski, pauper is a format where only commons are allowed.

Just reading the online cube list, had a total nerdgasm.
GG next week,

anyone experienced in cube want to give me some heads up on possible archetypes in the cube?

Can see an obvious re animator and red/x agro archtype, but not sure past that.

white/x tokens?

Anyone have tips?
