The interface is pretty easy to learn. Back when I started it took me maybe two drafts or so to get tuned to it, and even if misclicks happend they are few and far between once you get used to it. The biggest annoyance is if you have to change your default stops for some reason (board texture) and you hit F2 one time too many.

Also the casual rooms are good for learning. Hit me up with a PM or something if you want some intro-matches.

Also note to self: don't double click Visara again.

http://pdcmagic.com/ is a site for various pauper PREs. It's a good place to start looking for lists.

ugh made a really dumb mistake drafting, no clue why i thought predator dragon was better than tower gargoyle in 5c, deck would have been sick with it ended up not being able to play the dragon total failure

do have a foil broodmate dragon lol, I guess the prospect of 2dragons was too much

Been crushing on MODO recently on my friend's account with the best Naya zoo build - he top four'd a PTQ with it, decklist here (Matt Westfall).

I can't believe people play Mogg Fanatic in their zoo lists. lol

don't tell me that, you are tempting me to deposit money online again - currently buying pauper blocks (why I have no idea since it's pretty much dead online imo) - lol

OK, seriously -
turn 2 Ledgewalker get a concede
turn 2 Ravenous rats gets a concede
the first I can almost understand - the second???

last time I had money online, I lost 500 at the casino, lost the massive 200 in my account and another 600 redeposit in a night

I never actually played MTG before, other than messing around briefly.

Might be an interesting side recreation for when I don't feel like grinding. Any recommendations on how best to start? Good lord, I don't even remember the rules.

If you're playing in the casual play room, there are some real weirdos there. If they don't like 'discard' or 'land destruction' or 'counterspells' or some other totally normal part of the game, they will concede if you play one. Totally insane really, it's like conceding from a HU SNG if your opponent check-raises you or something.

Well they have a free trial. not sure what the entails. Account is 9.99 which I think you get back in credit at the wizard store.

Sign up for a free trial, play some of the freeplay decks to see if you want to get back into it - watch a few matches. I only play pauper (i'm terrible but addicted), feel free to pm me

I played live magics last night.

Basically just "forced" esper 5color, meaning I took the best card in every pack.

I won a game after getting hit by Ajani Vengeants Ult.

And I'm getting annoyed with the people who quit after less than 3 turns if they dont get a perfect start.
