Worldwake will be online on 2/22/2010.

Banesalyer is like 45 now.

Sure, there are some good standard decks that don't have Baneslayers and aren't Jund. Monored. UGR control. Valakut ramp. Vampires. Check out results of recent premier events:

I think Valakut Burn is your cheapest option for a deck. If you already have fetchlands though, building some other type of control deck becomes much cheaper.

This is pretty cool. I don't know how often it will be used though.

Also, Naya Lightsaber is the most broken deck in the word. What is good RG sideboard stuff against it?

This card is pretty sweet. Will work well in draft with the 2/2 guy who makes you lose a life every turn

I'm liking what this card will do as well.

Target creature gets -3/-3 until end of turn. You may tap any number of untapped Vampire creatures you control. If you do, put a +1/+1 counter on each of those Vampires.

Re: Magic: The gathering Online

Tips for a cheap fun Jund build?

What could replace Broodmates, Pulses and the other expensive cards.

I have Leeches, Bloodbraids, Bitimous Blasts, Blighting, Terminate, Bolts, Savage Lands etc.

My list:

4 Sakura Tribe-Elder
4 Tarmogoyf
4 Kitchen Finks
4 Bloodbraid Elf
4 Search for Tomorrow
4 Punishing Fire
4 Lightning Bolt
4 Scapeshift
3 Umazawa's Jitte

4 Stomping Ground
4 Grove of the Burnwillows
2 Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle
2 Treetop Village
6 Mountain
6 Forest
1 Swamp

SB:
4 Ancient Grudge
4 Thought Hemmorage
3 Blood Moon
2 Extirpate
2 Relic of Progenitus

This deck was only the nuts. Would play it again in a heartbeat, though I would play Primal Command in the sideboard. Siding out Scapeshift and siding in Blood Moon was ridiculous all day. I really like this build.
main deck looks solid, board looks awful. Are grudge extirpate and hemorrhage even good against tezzeret?

Hmm. Your mana base is probably substantially worse (lacking fetches). Play Jund Panorama. And 3-4 Borderland Rangers.

Not sure if you play online or paper but Broodmates are like 2tix online. If you play paper, Siege-Gang is cheaper than Broodmate and a decent sub for high end of the curve.

I don't think lacking Pulse is the end of the world if you play 4x Bolt 4x Terminate 3x Bit Blast..

Extirpate/Grudge is the nuts. Thought Hemmorage is pretty bad. I would put something against burn or zoo decks in general in there. Maybe Sun Droplet.

Re: Magic: The gathering Online

The only really bad card overall is Thought Hemmorage. Grudge is ridiculously good in the matchups you bring it in against but I can see going down to three. I probably want four Blood Moon, so you can do something like:

-4 Thought Hemmorage
-1 Ancient Grudge
+1 Blood Moon
+4 Sun Droplet

Losing to burn sucks. Alternatively, you can play a fourth Jitte maindeck, which wouldn't be awful.

Sigh my kingdom for a mana leak

Im seriously considering this deck for this weekend's ptq.
What are its good and bad matchups and what do you sideboard?
ie. how is it vs the DD/thopter combo, fast zoo, fae, and elves?
Im new to the format and wont have much time to playtest.
Lastly...what do you think about the decks running 2 harmonize?

Im sorry I have a lot of questions...Thanks in advance.

Is grudge basically a LD spell vs tezz? After board they bring in baneslayer and even if they do have the combo, by the time they get it, you've lost anyway. Extirpate is a card that I've always thought was awful
