I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Jagged Alliance 2 Gold for $6.80. It is a great turn base strategy game that has had me hooked for the last 2 months. I've been playing the fan-made 1.13 patch found here(if you want to trust Google over my links then type JA2 1.13 and it is the first link)

If you are a fan of any strategy based games, I think you could enjoy this game for that price easily. It has a lot of RPG based elements built into it as well with your Mercs leveling up different skills and equipment with tons of weapon and armor add-ons and night vision, mustard gas, c4, etc.

Pls cliffs why it is so much better with this patch? I love the game, but never payed any attention to fan patches

FWIW I played the **** out of the HoMM2 demo. One map, and it was the funnest **** ever.

HoMM3 is probably regarded as the best of the series.

Metro 2033 has the highest specs of the 5 so keep that in mind depending on how good your computer is.

Same here, my friend had it for computer so every day after school we'd sit there and play it over and over.

Haha, +1 to HoMM2 demo being the best thing evarrrrr

I def wouldn't trust HoMM6 until some reviews are out though (the only ones up on Metacritic so far are from Euro sites and aren't even written in English). I say this because when's the last time some rando European developer took over a long-standing series and did a good job? Disciples III (most recent example of this I can think of) blew.

HoMM is definitely one of those series where the first few editions were the best and most popular, they were the perfect blend of old school graphics and lots of deep gameplay available. I easily dumped the most time into 2 over the years and bought 3 off of GOG but didn't play it too much. One of the instances where more advanced graphics kind of killed the nostalgia of the series for me.

When we actually bought HoMM 2 we spent a ton of time playing Hotseat multiplayer. We'd spend hours a time playing 4 player hotseat.

lol another CSS update today. Value is really trying to get all source and 1.6 players to play GO. Hopefully the beta starts soon.

PRetty easy to fix.

For the video:

-novid on launch option

For replay.dll error, verify ingame cache then restart. It might take several tries to get it to work.

yeah the forums were helpful with those hints. although the problem is that every game server i've tried is having compatibility issues with running a different version right now. meh, sure it's something that will get fixed soon tho. titan quest keeping me busy.

eh its not that, I just get a message in steam that says "There seems to have been an error initializing or updating your transaction. Please wait a minute and try again or contact support for assistance." I assume it has to do with being in a diff country. Any way around it? I mean I made a ticket with steam but who knows if they'll ever respond.
