Dammit, I've looked at the sales for the last couple days, thought to myself, "Hmm...I think I might get that, but I'll think about it and buy it later," then I forget to go back to it.

I came really close to pulling the trigger on the DOOM pack just to relive my DOOM II days from the freshman dorms. "OMG - we can play against each other in different rooms? That's amazing!"

The whole Rockstar collection can be bought -71% for $40.

As someone who's only played a bit of Max Payne and GTA 3 (but enjoyed both), is it worth playing some of the older GTA's like Vice City?

Just bought Max Payne and the GTA4 pack. I figure it will be Christmas 2011 before I clear my gaming slate enough to dive into any of the other GTAs anyway.

took home Elderscrolls IV today (yes, i know somewhere up this thread i told i hated rpgs, its just always the curiousity and raving reviews these kind of games get that make me wanna give it '1 more shot')

for others: despite it still being a hefty price tag, NFS Hot Pursuit has proven me well worth its money, and i almost paid double. As an arcade-racer its great, the multiplayer makes it beyond awesome imho. If you liked outrun 2006 (for some a laughable title, for others (who enjoyed the arcades?) a true gem) think that times a hundred in every aspect

Alright YouR_DooM said he might be down for some Titan Quest action, anyone else? It plays just like Diablo 2, and is a loot collection style game. The game is set in 3 difficulties, and I think if you're clearing all the zones running through all the acts takes about 20ish hours.

Still $10 on steam I believe for the gold pack. If we could get 3 or 4 people together it'd probably be a lot of fun.

Not a Steam deal, but Impulse has this for $4 (list $20, currently $10 on Steam). Would be pretty cool to get a 2+2 multiplayer game going.

Are Empire and Napoleon worth $20? I really enjoyed Rome Total War. Do they live up to it?

I read some initital reviews from when the game came out. And it sounds like Empire was a great game that had some significant bugs with the AI. Were these patched?

I was never a fan of Empire Total War, I loved Rome and Medieval II. Something in Empire just made me hate it from the minute I started playing.

Hmm, I think I'll wait until the spring sale or next year and see if it drops to $10. It's ridiculous how Steam has warped my idea about how much I should pay for games. I've bought like 10 games so far, including 2 single player RPGs, so I'll definitely have enough games to hold me over until the next sale.
