Naaah Doom, hoverballs are cheating. Don't forget you can increase the power of the thrusters and have fewer of them. You probably know that, but just in case... also, add a few balloons, I always do to make it a little lighter.

I haven't played this game in ages, I think I will have a go tomorrow, last thing I made was a sort of rocket that you sat in, but it was really difficult to fly and I just ended up flying it into the sea (I was using one of the HL2 coastal maps.) This time I want to try a huge fighting machine, kinda like a transformer, but I can never get the things to walk right as I haven't got the hang of pulleys and hydraulics etc.

Edit - I also forgot to mention, last time I also tried to make a glass-bottom boat. However, after having spent f***ing ages lining up my girders for the base, then welding all the glass panels onto them, I dropped the whole construction and all the glass smashed.

I bought the Indie Clever Pack and Defense Grid: The Awakening.

I too, am saddened by the lack of $5 and less titles. I feel pretty much obligated to buy video games that are less than 5 bucks.

EMPIRE TW for 15$ its tempting

Yeah the the deals over the first two days haven't been very exciting, all I'm picked up so far was Tropico 3 for $7.50

Torchlight is only $5 and if anyone is looking for a Diablo 2 clone to hold them over for D3, it's a good buy.

Tropico 3 was pretty good, but I'm a huge fan of those city building strategy games.

I played Rome: Total War and 1 of the other ones and enjoyed them both, but I don't know if I should buy Empire: TW for $15. Has anyone played it? Is it remarkably better than past ones that justify the expense?

What's the word on King's Bounty? Reviews I've looked at have been...mixed.

It's a decent game, reminded me a lot of the Heroes of Might and Magic games.

I have kings boutny, armored princess, and I found it pretty good until around 50% of the game. It get's pretty repetitive after that.

It's also interestingly hard.

I played the crap out of the original kings bounty on the PC, so picked up the discount platinum pack in a heartbeat, now to figure out a way to avoid spending too much time playing it

Is LFD2 worth $5? Never played it.

only good item on sale today is the Orange Box for $7.50 which is absolutely ridiculous value if you've not played some of them. Portal, HL2+E1+E2 and TF2 is an already good deal made great.

I find it sad that today they have individual items on sale that they already offered yesterday, but in a pack.
