This may be redundant advise but if you're getting a black screen on load up just hammer the space bar and it'll get you through to the main menu. I got stuck there for a while because I couldn't see any of the video/audio and for some reason Esc is not the "skip cinematic" button.

Of course you could have a totally different problem...

Oh dear Bloodbowl is a waste is it, I picked it up impulsively when it was reduced, mostly because I played the tabletop game a bit when I was a teenager.

I see Monkey Island 1 and 2 special editions are 50% off at the moment which is really tempting. I come close to clicking buy then just think why don't I just play this on the old SCUMM emulator for free... Still, I may cave before the deal expires, it sounds like it's going to be a more worthy purchase than Bloodbowl.

I've probably spent 100+ hours playing peggle. Peggle Extreme is basically 10 Half-Life themed peggle levels.

How do I find out how long I have played a game? I seem to remember it was in the Shift-tab overlay, but I can't find it anymore.

Mine tells me total time played for each game in the Library view of the Steam client itself. Up the top, just below the game title.

Anyone familiar with Archon? I've played the remake and it's a faithful update to the original. Developer says multiplayer's coming and it'll be on Steam soon.

Also, where do you find free games?

I just tried out the Amnesia demo and that game is intense. I went through it quickly (didn't finish it), but I definitely had some chills.

Another question, when you want to delete a game, do you do it from Steam or do you do it through your add/remove control panel?

A lot of people like Amnesia. Don't think it matters whether you delete from Ctrl Panel or Steam. If I remember right, going thru Ctrl Panel just opened Steam and performed the same function anyway. Thanks for the HU on Medal of Honor: Opposing Force (lol)
