I'm so torn on Arma, I want to play DayZ really bad but I don't want to spend 15EUR on a game that I might drop rather quickly.

well I can probably recommend Torchlight as well, played only 30 minutes but it definitely has potential:

1) you can start on hard or very hard right away so game is a challenge at the very start
2) non linear quests
3) ****loads of similarities with diablo 2, but I think that might be a good thing, you can also learn random spells from scrolls which are not part of your talent tree and talent trees highly customizable like in d2
4) no base life regen which I found quite harsh... lol

Command and Conquer collection just made sure I will bust the 250 random bucks I had in my moneybookers account lol. The last 3 games I bought before this sale were Bioshock, Just Cause 2 and Starcraft 2, all on release day. So **** you Steam .

edit: forgot I bought modnation racers too. So 4 games since Bioshock came out .

I bought evochron for some reason. I guess it looks sort of interesting? I passed on Crysis 2 based on advice here, so I'm proud of that.

you realise its only 9€?
you only need the expansion to play dayz.
I understand people want to buy super cheap games but from what I see most of you buy tons of crap <5$ and never play it.
just buy this one already and I guarentee you´ll play it

I thought you needed both games to play Day Z. I'm such a nub if not.

I tried Torchlight in beta or demo form but I couldn't get past the kiddy graphics. However, for less than four bucks I'll give it another shot...

there's no conversion like that (at least it's not a rule from hat I know, but it happens), I assume you have access to US store, in EU store today's deal for Arma is 14,99EUR.

And Binding of Isaac for example which I bought for 1,24EUR is more addicting that Diablo for 60EUR. But I think eventually I'll buy Arma...

you only need arma 2 free demo + expansion.

the free demo is the entire game actually but only gives u access to multi player which is why dayz can play it.
for more infos read dayz thread and this page:

The original Torchlight is only single player. Torchlight 2 will have a co-op mode.

Jesus... it's like every game I ever wanted to buy that I couldn't justify paying full price for is on sale.

Steam sure knows how to put things on sale - I've probably bought more games in the last week than I've bought in my entire life before that.
