i guess i'm more saying it because that sensation is probably somewhat fleeting. once that feeling subsides somewhat (and don't get me wrong, the first few times are absolutely mindblowing), you may be left thinking 'well this is still definitely cool and pretty fun, but i wish there were more long, quality games around instead of just tech demos'.

given the lack of content, i could only recommend you do it if you intend to use the computer for other stuff as well. i bought my first gaming pc in close to 15 years to coincide with the advent of VR. the most (sustained) fun i've had in the last year was probably DOOM, in 2D. i don't regret shelling out $$$ to get all this stuff (and if you have the money to burn, i doubt you would either), but i can't wholeheartedly recommend that you do it.

regarding changing tech, the vive has some cool new knuckle controllers coming out soon, and a third party wireless solution, but a gen 2 headset with improved visuals is probably at least 18-21 months away.

Man i wish this game would come to PC. I watched some gameplay and it looks amazing. PS 4 getting this game and Nioh as exclusives is tilting.

Tbh I think P4 Golden is worth the 200€ I paid for Vita and Golden I was able to sell them for what I paid for them too!

If you get PS Vita, there are also few other games you can get:

Persona 3 (10€ in online shop)
Danganronpa 1 (but this came to Steam, recommended btw)
Danganronpa 2 (ditto)

But yeah, get an used PS Vita, play Personas (4 Golden >>>>>> 3 imo), sell it.

Yeah seems like Vita would be perfect if you're always moving. I have one and love it but those memory cards are just ridiculous.

Been watching some streams of the new Klei game Oxygen not included and it looks like it will be a lot of fun. It is a colony sim somewhat similar to Rimworld, but with the distinctive Klei art style and what looks like a much friendlier UI.

It is an Alpha version only available through their forums at the moment but considering the experiences i have had with their development processes on Don't Starve and Invisible Inc. I'm pretty confident the game will turn out great. If I hadn't just gotten Rimworld I would snap buy this, but I'm still putting most of my gaming time into Rimworld at the moment.

Klei is fantastic and they have even been involved in some way with two of my favorite games at the moment (Darkest Dungeon and Renowned Explorers). Don't Starve isn't my thing but I appreciate the quality there.

Been playing FTL on my computer for years and never beat the game on medium - managed to do it on my second or third game on iPad with the Engi cruiser. RNG so important - found a burst laser in like the first sector and just wrecked from there. Was down to my last health bar but had knocked out all the flagship's weapons so just had to fade a last-second laser blast. The touch interface on that game is just phenomenal

The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel is another great Vita/PS3 JRPG.

Although you might want to play Trails in the Sky (Steam) first.

At first I thought this was a lol way of you saying this game is just a upgraded graphics version of another game in the Tales series, but there are actually $60 dollars worth of cosmetic DLCs!

Yeah that's pretty incredible. I did get Warhammer though, and the DLCs for that game are even more ridiculous. $20 DLC for factions that were included and playable when the game was released. and similar DLCs for hours worth of content. Just outrageous.
