Re: Let's talk about Steam and buy mountains of games

When I first read the title to this thread I was like sure, I'll buy one or two games at most. Oops.

Re: Let's talk about Steam and buy mountains of games

There are almost too many games on sale to even know what to get.

Picked up:

Clive Barker's Jercho
Cryostasis
The Witcher
Indigo Prophecy

I should be set for a long time even if I only play half the games I've bought.

Re: Let's talk about Steam and buy mountains of games

Got the Witcher. Thats going right at the back of the queue, but already finished mass effect 1.
Is counterstrike Source worth getting? I know its rated highly but its probably quite out of date now and there are a load of other shooters out there.

Picked up CS:S yesterday and Aquaria today. Aquaria is apparently a very, very good super metroid style game some friend of mine have been raving about.

You don't think cs:s has merit of its own as a game?

Re: Let's talk about Steam and buy mountains of games

I haven't played since right before CS:S came out (1.6), but I've sort of just assumed that at this point the game wouldn't be very much fun unless you were really good.

I imagine it's overrun by pros at this point.

If you don't even know the maps I can imagine CSS being incredibly frustrating.

This is pretty amazing for a ~6month old, well reviewed game. So many games, so little time.

Is there any easy way to buy from steam if i have USD in moneybookers & poker sites? id rather not have to do the currency conversion every time.

When you buy games through Steam, you just can use your account on any computer and download the games, ya?
