I need to do a massive map unlock session, though, I've only done three areas thus far and in order to get started on all the upgrades I need....well, pretty much every area other than like two or three I could put off.
Really need to do the Lost Woods, now that I'm grinding Korok seeds (last run I was usually within five seeds of my shrine count, ended up 112 seeds to 120 shrines, this run I'm at like 74 seeds and 27 shrines currently) I could use the space upgrades much sooner, which would be fun.
Underrated reason to open the map, finding Rito village would allow me to rupee grind apples, which for some reason was one of my favorite ways to get rupees.
I want to do a 2nd run as well, but I think I may wait until the the dlc is announced, and try to run them into each other.
Coming off of 2 1/2 years of playing Destiny (1700 total hours, EEP) I've been taking a much slower approach to BotW to enjoy it much more.
I'm up to 96 Shrines, finding the last 30 or so to be a real pain in the ass to find. Korok Seeds I'm terrible at though, I've only found 40 or so, but then again I don't actively look.
Finally fully upgraded Barbarian and Soldier gear. Now focusing on shrines, upgrading the Champion Tunic and then onto Gannon.
I think this might be a top 5 game of all time for me, its just so good. Lynel/Molduga farming might be my favorite thing to do. I also love Rupee farming in the great white north. Tossing blue bombs at all the meat dropping critters and then selling tons of Meat Skewers for 200-500 rupees. Then again outside of Arrows (I don't arrow farm) /I don't really use rupees anymore lol.
Farming Arrows was really easy a month ago, I think most people did that. The update changed it and limited single event farming, you can still farm them now but It requires much more time and is quite tedious now.
Is there any way to figure out which Shrines you haven't done yet? I know there are maps to look at but is there any other way to come up with a list of shrines to do?
Yea, I meant yet to discover. I think I only have a handful of quest shrines left, so I'm missing about 10 or so just out there shrines. I guess its time to break out a map lol.
The inclusion of a swarm mode just seems very faddy. It doesn't make a lot of sense in context with the game. Here's a gigantic game about exploration and discovery, Now we are going to confine you to a small area while you fight a horde of baddies.
