If you're content with silver and barely being over the starting elo, sure.
If you actually want to play against better people or get better, then keep playing.

Long time lurker - used to be high 1650 elo for time, got a joob then after much time away became a noob.

Trying to main Jax top, looking for runes / masteries from other pros who play him like damion (the m5 guy) or wings of death - though having trouble. Does anyone know the best way to find these out and point me in right direction?

Ive tried a 21/9/0 build w/ double pen and a 9/21 taking movespeed @70% and CDR/lvl. With MS Quint, AD Red, Arm Yllw, MRplvl blue and sometimes swapping out the MS quint for hp/5 or going AD Quint w/ Arm Pen Reds. I agree most is matchup dependant, though could someone give some guidelines?

I pretty much always go 9/21 with AD reds/quints armor yellows mr/mr scaling blues. Idk tends to work, haven't really tried 21 offense much as I like defense generally

i main jax and have played him for 3years now. 21/9 is only good if you know what u are doing and are sure u are a better player than your enemy and can outtrade him at like lvl3 and zone him from there. problem its sucks when u dont get fed. so i would go 9/21 for starters.

edit: thoughts about jungle olaf? can buy him now or should I wait for shyv/mao first

i don't like jungle olaf one bit, its hard to get shurelias in the jungle/enough farm in general, so you are beast for 10 sec every 180 but then don't do much

he just requires too much skill/balls, quite the beast at early jungle dueling and counterganking but if you dont plan on maining olaf jungle i'd stay away

I'd buy Maoki or Shyvana. They are way better than jungle olaf, unless you are a god with Olaf like Nintendude. Olaf doesn't farm very well unless he has blue buff and there isn't enough gold in the jungle to make him a beast. If you don't put the enemy jungle behind by counter jungling you will eventually start to fall behind in usefulness.

I think I want a new jungle, Darius lacks... certain fearsomeness when underleveled, ganks don't go as planned unless you are ganking complete retards.

I'm lackluster at Mundo lately, not sure why.

Maybe I should take up Maokai/Shyvana or something. Or maybe just get ****ing Amumu because he's 1350 ip
