Me and a buddy got this last night. One of the most aesthetically pleasing games I have ever played. The music is just unreal good as well. Will play again.

Finally played this. Enjoyed it a lot, great surround sound. My favorite part is sliding down the hills.

It would neat to play with someone on your friend list, but I think having it be a random nameless partner adds more to the game.

I lost my partner at
Spoiler:
the part in the snow where you have to go from shelter to shelter and hide from the dragon thing. I hated going through the rest of it alone, but when I got to the final push up the mountain in the snow, wind, thunder and lightning, I spotted a new guy up ahead and to the right. I was more focused on catching up to him than making it up the mountain. Finally got close right when you start slowing down. Right when I catch him, he stops and falls down. After I fell too, I realized it was the end of that section, but the timing really got me.

Then after all that work, he left me behind for the final part

what was the part at the beginning that I must have missed? I was signed into PSN when I played

I guess the game was alright, nothing to write home about in particular. I did like the shooting star I saw early in the game which I followed expecting to lead somewhere, but
Spoiler:
then I realised at the end that it was simply: another player who had completed the game.

You had mentioned to make sure to be signed in before you start so I was expecting something to happen, or was that just to ensure I got a companion?

If you're interested in studying game design, Jenova Chen's thesis on flow in games is an awesome read.

Journey was super awesome experience. That thesis is really interesting... where can I find more to read on that kinda stuff?
