Re: ITT we celebrate classic Nintendo 64 games

Ocarina is just a pure masterpiece. Mario 64 is timeless and still an incredibly fun platformer. Mario Kart 64 will never be topped as a party game (we busted it out last Friday night again). Banjo-Kazooie, Donkey Kong, Mario Tennis/Golf, KGJ Baseball, Smash...god what a great system.

Re: ITT we celebrate classic Nintendo 64 games

i had 64 and it was pretty great. In my opinion, the best zelda game was actually 'A link to the Past' for Super Nintendo. Sorry to derail. My favorite N64 game was probably golden eye. Playing mulitplayer mode takes me back to the good ol days...

Re: ITT we celebrate classic Nintendo 64 games

Obviously Banjo-Kazooie is my favorite game of all time.

Ogre Battle 64 is available on the Wii VC unless my memory was broken due to drinking.

The one game on the system that I really enjoyed playing that I don't own is Blast Corps.

Blast Corps was pretty sick, forgot all about that game.

Just played Mario Party 2 this weekend as a drinking game. Definitely my favorite of the series.

Probably spent the most time playing Smash Bros out of all N64 games...

Re: ITT we celebrate classic Nintendo 64 games

I wonder if the N64 can genuinely be called the Goat?

It was twice as powerful as it's rivals at the time of release, but it didn't have great 3rd party support. Most of the best games were from Nintendo themselves, or Nintendo backed companies like Rare.
