If the game is during the week I can do 7pst but not 7:30, if it's Friday or weekend I can do any time for the most part

We have a game on Wens at 9 ET. It's against "Late Game", who until their loss last week, were the #1 D2 team. I watched the VOD of their last game, found here: https://www.twitch.tv/sumozuki/v/71361265

Draft starts around 3 hours in. The captain of Late Game seems like a dickhead, as he wouldn't allow the other team to change a misclicked pick, even though it didn't affect the rest of the draft. (Some rare drama there) Our game will be sky temple.

If you don't watch the VOD, the game was interesting - they were pretty aggressive throughout but made 1 really bad call, got engaged on their own bruisers in a terrible spot, and even though they had Xul on Tomb and out-killed the other team, they threw the game. Should be noted that the team that beat them is "Skyelight", who are a legit stacked team. (And shouldn't be in D2, as they have multiple 3500 mmr players. With their win, THEY are the #1 team now)

Anyway, they were ahead that game, but threw badly. It will be a tough game. Only 4 of their members have hotslogs profiles, as the captain (who wouldn't allow the hero swap) is blocked. (Muted, possibly) In any event, they are 2900/2900/2800/1800. The 1800 played a pretty strong game actually against better players, and their blocked guy didn't seem to suck. (In fact, their "best" player, at least by MMR, likely played the worst) They stuck their 2 lowest on tank/support.

Those are the 4 members who have hotslogs profiles. Jack Burton has nearly 5,000 games so it's hard to say his favorite heroes, but he's played an insane amount of Thrall and Zeratul. Guygus has played a lot of games as well and appears to main KT (when possible), and also plays a lot of Jaina/Li Ming, so he is assuredly their mage carry. llien, who played a good thrall game, has played nearly 3k games and has played a lot of Chen/Thrall/Kerrigan/Zeratul/Illidan.

Lately Anub has had a sick winrate on Sky Temple. Illidan, KT (obv), Zag, Tyrande, Xul, Thrall, Falstad, Rehgar, Slyv, Tass are other heroes with really strong winrates. We'll probably draft accordingly.

Their silenced guy is at 2600 TL.

I played around with Medivh in try mode. He seems INSANE... if his stuff just did a *little* more. There are a ton of cool plays you can make with portal

That said his winrate doesn't lie, he is the worst hero ever. Oh well

a buff for him would be a disaster tho

He's likely to be like Uther or Abathur; basically always be so much better in pro play than for everyone else and therefore have to be balanced at a low winrate for the general public.

uther and aba are both v playable in hero league tho, even tho they generally are played poorly by the general populace

i think he is unplayable flat out as is tho

i actually just won a HL game with 1 on my team, although i dont think he did that much. i think we would've won with any other hero in his spot but who knows.

tbh its kinda annoying the scheduling. i play a TON of hots and i have a TON of free time, but ive missed a few games because we keep getting friday night games. i go out on fridays typically, every other night is just better

i think there were a few bad calls and missed individual skills, but they are a really good team. we had legit chances to win and were ahead at some points in that game. vorime's death at the very end was pretty bad given he had gust up, would've been able to defend the core ez.

feels like he didnt get a lot of value out of falstad tbh pushing lanes. already talked with akson about the draft, it wouldnt have been my picks but it wasnt bad. kharazim into kt is real tough

they set a few traps and we fell into a couple of them, so props to them. well played game. the caster is kinda annoying, didnt like when he spent like a minute zooming into a ****ing bruiser camp

yeah vor realized it was a mistake when it happened, basically didn't think they could kill him that fast (even saying before it happened that he may gust them away from the core)

btw next team we're playing won their past two games because of no shows.

Also Jova did post this morning saying top 16 make playoffs. So if we win this next game we'll possibly make the playoffs.

Its a shame not many people are playing this. They are introducing 2 new starcraft themed maps for season 2. sadly s2 is oushed back 2 weeks but by golly thats incredible

The ranking system seems absurd

Played my 10 placement game last season with a friend who was level 19, I ended up level 10, then we played a couple more game he needed 3 win to go up one level while I was levelling up every game. Iended season rank 6 while he was 17 or something

This season I played my 10 placement game with him, he ends up silver 1 while I'm Plat 4

I've almost never played without him and now we can't play together because gap too big between our divisions
