Not sure what the criteria was for receiving the 4 keys to give away to make a team of friends. All my friends received the email but we were all in the technical alpha and still active.

I have access myself but didn't get keys in my inbox. Would greatly appreciate one for my mate who doesn't have access yet if anyone has a spare one.

I got burned out on the game fast initially but recently picked it up again and like it much better now. It feels kind of like hearthstone, the depth isn't immediately obvious. I like to play abathur but many pugs don't understand how powerful the buff is.

If you're asking about the people who received four keys to give out, then it's an email that's given to some random people already in the beta.

I think the system is kind of meh. The ranks means very little and the hidden MMR system doesn't seem to work too well either. I run into people who don't even understand basic concepts like soaking lanes, yet they could be many ranks ahead of mine. I also see people getting flamed for being R40, but honestly, nobody would actually stagnate at R40, so all it means is that the guy hasn't played much hero league.

Hero league didn't work for me at the start. I would get kicked when team selection started and that would count as a loss. As I result I am still ranked 50 and now it regularly takes more than 15 minutes to even get a match. In quickmatch I never have to wait more than 5 minutes and most times a lot less. I will try ranked again when it gets into open beta.

Gonna assume it means staying in a lane where creeps are dying to get the xp

It's pretty important pre 10 to soak as much xp if your team isn't getting kills to stay even or ahead in xp.

I get really pissed when there's some dude just roaming around doing nothing and there's free xp a few feet away if he stayed in lane.

Yeah, pretty much what they said. It's sitting in lane and making sure you're able to get the exp from the minions. It's important because the first team to 10 gets a huge advantage, and also because during the early levels, kills aren't worth that much exp compared to minions. Plus, minions are guaranteed exp, whereas kills aren't guaranteed if your enemy plays safe.
