Yeah I know. It just takes a lot more effort to quickly scan the selected/pre-selected heroes and figure out what we need.

Definitely a good step forward for this game imo. I'm at ~6/14 heroes for ranked. Previously I would have had to lvl4 basically every hero I owned. Now I have about 5 dudes at 2-3 that can be leveled in a few matches. I snap picked the tank pack for some reason and am not regretting it. My favorite role is assassin but I have most of the assassins that I want to play (my main is valla whos always been pretty legit). I had a few tanks before but now Im probably close to 25 heroes unlocked.

Click the gear in the lower right. Options > Social > Rejoin channels on login

tyvm. Realized since earlier that I need lvl 5 for ranked. Cool cause have almost enough heroes at lvl 4 to play ranked but still quite a bit of grind to finish the task. Probably played 10 games earlier. Rexxar is pretty fun but vunerable. Samuro is amazing evasive dps/ganker.

How do you ever win when your team is Rehgar, Tyrande, Li Ming, Tank Varian and Anub vs Diablo, Arthas, Morales, Kael and Zul'Jin? Bonus points if your answer somehow involves Rehgar and Tyrande both going full support talents on top of the tank for Varian.

Edit: Next game my team actually manages to draft a comp of Chromie, Lili, Muradin, Arthas and Anub.

Feels like she'll be pretty obnoxious to play against, that E seems insane for objective control.

Honestly those comps arent even that bad.

I'd honestly love some elaboration on that, the first game felt totally hopeless. Their front line could basically do whatever they wanted since I can't pressure them enough with Li Ming and even when I got some good damage on one of their squishies there just wasn't any follow up to get a kill.
The 2nd one actually went reasonably well but people were so negative from the start that it all fell apart as soon as it started to go a bit wrong.

It depends on the map but the 1st comp:

You have incredible lock down and kill pressure. Tyrande, anub, and varian is an insane strong cc lock down that starts with a point and click. With li ming you can blow people up. You have a lot of sustain with the double support and kill potential.

It's actually a strong comp, the only downside is your waveclear blows. Ming and anub are the best soakers and thats an issue, although the other team has very limited siege capability so it's w/e. You also have dive for morales and a way to blow her up, the only issue is you have no way of really killing tanks (no % damage or AAs for longer fight) so if you dont kill a backline hero you will lose team fights.

When I complain about comps, its people troll picking nova last pick when you need a healer. Doesn't happen too often, but happens often ENOUGH that those are the comps I roll my eyes and rage a bit, since it's a waste of my time. (Even those arent completely unwinnable, and I am guilty of troll picking from time to time as well)

The 2nd comp has triple warrior which is pretty bad (unless one of the warriors is zarya, and you have a high damage tank that is basically not johanna) since those 3 tanks also offer no wave clear. Depends on map as well, but you have a ton of protection for chromie and new li li is kinda like a mage herself. Your tanks have a ton of sustain as well so they dont really require too much babysitting.

Really, neither of those comps is optimal, but neither is that bad. Would prefer better drafts but def worth playing out!

That makes sense thanks. And yeah obviously I play out the games regardless of what other people do, but sometimes it's hard not to get frustrated with the game

2.0 is the best thing ever. I'm up to 57 heroes and have a nice skin for each one of them. So awesome. And levels actually mattering make me play a new hero every time, so that is cool too.

2.0 great. Played a bit again. I am not really good, but always play support in team comps. Lucio is a nice new addition. In general the game got way better with all the new heroes clearly having a purpose and beeing interesting to play with.

Anybody on EU servers, would be happy to have more people to play with.

2.0 has been great but I'm not going to be sad when this overwatch cross promotion is done. New players are good, but it came with people who feel "forced" to be there, and playing with those people kind of sucks.

Down to only 4 heroes I don't own. Tons of skins, mounts, etc. Really like the new loot box system.

I agree. It was really bad in week 2, where I seemingly got put in with throwers so much I stopped playing. Last week I didn't get paired with anyone throwing the game.

Yesterday was really annoying, because we really had a shot at winning. We won most of the 3v3 and 4vs battles. But we couldn't win any 5v5 because there never was a 5v5. One of my teammates would attack the opposing tower, die, then do it again. At one point, each member on our team had 2 or 3 deaths, the thrower had 12.

I haven't been playing vs. humans either, doing my playing at humans vs bots (Adept and Veteran).

I have just got 7 heroes to level 15 (master) with a total level about 300, and I know the maps well, but I will be going the bot path to the end first, and then maybe quick match, and then unrated.

But as the competition could be like same level, there should be no reason why one could not play only vs humans, other than what one can learn from bots, but I started with bots, that is s good way to learn and level up heroes, and in many cases the friendly bot heroes will support one better, instead of doing e.g. more solo laning in humans games, and also the opponents as bots can be better and more logical (though they have their illogical movement), and so the weak humans only level could well be a frustration compared to bots games, but that is if one is more skilled.

Have heard (site's forum) that the players are pretty weak at the moment even in humans vs humans games, because of 2.0 and some Overwatch promotion (and some prefer to play with humans only -- while some prefer the bots).

The Quick match has been also not liked, maybe because there can be any amount of any heroes, but maybe mostly because the teams may be randomly picked, so one team can be more powerful, but I haven't looked into it myself. Some like the Quick match because one gets into the game faster.

The EU server is busy at least where I play (humans vs bots).

Humans vs. adept bots, one scores there like 90%, possibly more, and the only problems come when most of the players are pretty new players, in case it can be a frustration to a more skilled player compared to the Veteran level (that is above the Adept level).

The more skilled players should use the ping (you should use those in bot games also or your bots won't follow the objectives as well) when there are many newer players, to make more sure the newer players will follow the game objectives.

The bots (only) Adept level scores 90% (your winrate) but one's team will like never be as weak as it can be in humans vs bots games at Adept level, or higher too some of the times, as the more experienced players will regularly get a relatively weak human team.

You get 10 free loot boxes if you complete 15 games vs humans before May 22. Plus Overwatch stuff, if you play that game.
