Re: Heavy Rain

demo was amazing and made me very intrested. not a big fan of the shaking the controller type of moves because they feel so random like you are not really in control of what the hell you trying to do.

but this game is a given buy for me, any release date on it yet?

Re: Heavy Rain

Replayed the whore part of the demo. I tried a different direction and the scene changed slightly although it went back to the original, which kind of felt forced. However, I decided to go ahead and pre-order this from Amazon. Went with the Release Date Delivery. Assuming I get it on Tuesday, I'll probably have it finished by the end of the week given that I have 3 days off wed-fri. :vomitallovermykeyboard: Goodbye $60, it was nice knowing you.

Yeah I haven't bought a game in years but I pre-ordered this as well.

Re: Heavy Rain

Seriously considering getting it, played the demo this evening and it seems like a really interesting concept. Already love the private investigator character, reminds me a bit of the fat detective from The Wire.

Not quite sure I like pressing various buttons and holding them in as a means to climb/navigate through gaps etc, but sure I'll get used to it. Had my hand in an unnatural contorted state and my tongue on the L2 and L1 buttons earlier, trying to climb the hill at the crime scene...

Gonna play it again tomorrow and see if anything different happens if I succeed in...

Re: Heavy Rain

yeah climbing the hill I had my hand in a contorted state, but as the buttons fade away you can let go of them, much easier after that, since I was just adding the newly appeared buttons to the ones I was already pressing.

Re: Heavy Rain

Btw the demo is set on max difficulty if you don't tweak in the options. This game should be a real immersive experience.

Re: Heavy Rain

Yeah I was going to say that once the buttons disappear you can let go of them. It is designed so that the next button isn't too far away from the one you are currently holding down.
