I'm debating whether or not to pick this game up? I used to be a huge fan of starcraft, red alert, etc... back in the day. I still play halo 3 and was wondering if anyone has played it yet?

i downloaded the demo only because it was developed by the AOE crew, and i must say that I did not care for it. a rts on the console just seemed weird, and although i didnt really get to play a whole lot of the game, it seemed that there was a much stronger focus on action.

overall id say it depends on what your expectations for the game are

Same story here. A RTS on a console is just so limited. Starcraft is a much more dynamic game than this. I was really looking for to it then dled the demo and realized just how limited it is.

how's the online multiplayer? I don't play on PC so console RTS doesn't bother me much (huge Lord of the Rings Battle for Middle Earth II fan) on Xbox live.

I enjoyed it for what it was, a limited RTS. I like to zerg people and only being able to create a max of 40 units kinda suxs at the end of the day especially when tanks take 3

yeah i played the demo its not great, just get on warcraft 3 if u wanna play a game like that.
