GTA V - Heists taking place up in hurrr - Page 180 - Video Games

Although I ran it fine yesterday, GTA 5 story mode will not load at all this morning.

It says I might have to reinstall if the situation persists. Does that mean I have to do the whole 3 hour download again?

I had that same problem after I had beat it, gotten to 100% and was 50'ish out of 70 Gold Medals in missions to get me the final trophy for SoloPlayer.

Tried everything I could to fix it, and nothing worked. Even went through Rockstar and PS4's support. Can't bring myself to play it again now, and thats been since January. I started the Solo again back then and just wasn't feeling it at all.

Turns out that it will run in safe mode, so you might want to try that.

Also might want to try starting out in online mode, then switching to story mode. That works for me also.

After being a bit bored with GTA Online I wanted to give single player a shot for the nth time. However I'm stuck after Franklin and Lamar, Simeone won't call me and give me the next mission, driving around for ~15 minutes doesn't help neither, I have already replayed that mission but it didn't help. People are reporting on the internets similar situation but couldn't find any reasonable solution. Yet it's weird a bug would be this early in the game and Rockstar wouldn't have fixed it by now.

PC. Help?

Yes, you can sleep in his bed in his aunt's house.

Wow, that's the first mission in the game. Sucks that you can't go past it. Maybe try re-installing the game?

I had the same issue when I was at Trevor. His first mission ended, but the next part wouldn't start. I couldn't switch guys, so after doing random crap, I decided to sleep. Once I slept, the next trigger happened.

Finished all the heists.. Got my two 1mill bonuses too. One for all in order and one for using the same crew.. Had to do fleeca again as doing heist with anyone else resets the loyalty one.

Did anyone get any additional money when they signed on today? I got a prompt before I got into my game saying that my account has been corrected by $375K.

Then I get a message from the bank saying that there has been a bank error in my favor.

Yeah, my least favourite part of any GTA-game.

It makes little sense and doesn't fit in at all - forcing you to go through that to continue in the game goes against a lot of the idea of the freedom you get from playing gta imo.

There's obviously a certain amount of violence and killing you have to do to in any GTA-game, but that scene was really out of character for GTA and what you'd expect.

Does anyone play this on ps3? Played it through the single player when it came out, basically maxed out my money through stocks, played a little multi and thinking about popping it back in. Loved it mostly, but not enough to double dip on ps4

Finally finished single player (66,6%), what a great game. I think single player is actually better than GTA Online.

If it wasn't for the long loading times, I'd probably play GTAOnline quite a bit. I did it a bit, and I really did want to get as many trophies as I could, but that just took all of the drive away to do it.

If there is a dumber thing than the orbital strike in the new update, I'd like to know what it is.

Some cool stuff in the new update but the forced public lobbies for heist set ups (PLEASE GRIEF ME! PLEEEEEEEEEASE!) and idiotic nonsense like the orb strike just grate on me.

I didn't realize this game was still going on. I played it a lot until the PS4 came out and then gave away my console and didn't want to buy a game I already had played.

It is still doing very well (numbers wise), they have mastered forcing people to grind for money or buy shark cards. Having said that I still have a lot of fun playing it with friends. If you bought it for the PS4 you do get to transfer your PS3 character over (or you used to be able to do that) if that makes any difference to you.

I wonder if they scrapped single-player DLC plans after they started crushing with multiplayer, and if they're going to just hold off on GTA6 as long as they can ride this wave.

(I'd play either one despite my hatred for GTA5.)
