Fwiw the original game game with a month free sub is $20. If you want to do the trial, it's 14 days free and can level up to level 20 (Max level is 50 for original game and 60 with xpac) with any class or classes. To give you an example of amount of time to get through stuff, I'm currently at 132 hours of play time and I have yet to even get through all of the original ARR main story questline. Also, you cannot access the Heavensward story line or new classes until you go through all ARR's.

I uninstalled. The level/gear grind to 60 is absurdly difficult and Alex Savage was meh. Back to no games and focusing on business.

I just started Heavensward a few days ago. This game is amazing, and now it's because of the story. The double crosses, deaths, character development, etc... is wonderful, and so I don't mind the grind at all because I get an awesome story in the process. It will probably be a pain to level my 2nd class to 60, but this one I am thoroughly enjoying.

Don't be deterred by having to go through the main quest scenario first before accessing Heavensward, because the journey is absolutely a pleasure.

It is, so far I played 65 hours in the past 3 days and I still have much to do to catch up. Maybe 200 hardcore hours more and I'll be up to date.

Oh I didn't see you're 65 hours in lol. I'm basically a noob, I bought it in a bundle and then never really played it haha. It seems fun but I hated the early running around missions lol.

For those interested, SE just got rid of the time limit on the free trial. You can play up to level 35, with no time restriction (was two weeks).

Pretty much the limits/time gates on all top end gear have been taken off, so end game gear can now be grinded in a weekend.

Also, there is a free login campaign going on for those that haven't be subscribed in the past 30 days. Can play for free for up to 96 hours till May 4th.
