Been playing a bit of FUT and have created a decent squad, 79 overall/4.5 star/100 Chem and am winning most games.

Question is, how do I make the jump to acquiring much better players? Feels impossible just getting there thru grinding up coins playing games. Do I need to try my hand at the marketplace if I want to make serious coin?

Yeah, you need to start trading items to make big coinage. I made a fortune trading with in forms last year, cba to trade as much this year though

Random question. What settings do you guys suggest changing for the AI when someone is between skill levels? I've the lower one is too easy but the higher one still a big struggle?

I'd set it on the higher level and tinker with the AI error rate depending on which parts of the game you want to get better at (keep the standard 50 or decrease) and which parts make the game too frustrating (increase the error rate). Settings->Game Settings->RT or R2 all the way to the right, "CPU Gameplay Customization".

So if the problem on the higher setting is the AI defending too well increase the defending error rates. Same applies to "User Gameplay Customization" but I would just change the CPU rate a bit first and see if that works.

20k or so, and that's his "correct" price-he's been around there since the game came out and imo won't drop too much until TOTY.

he's well worth it. there not many midfielders that are above average attacking and defending who have decent pace: Naingolan, Marchisio, Vidal and Pogba. I'd put Fred in there too, I love playing with him. Witsel's the same type of player but I haven't thought of a Belgian team I can afford that I want to try.

Anyone used Douglas Costa? Just pulled him from my 50k pack, but I'm not sure whether to keep him or sell. Getting close to being able to afford Ibra, which is pretty my end game each year.

Gameplay was very odd for me this weekend, at one point I drew 6 FUT season games in a row. Have more draws than losses on my main account because of that streak. Lag wasnt too bad, but the rubber-banding was Mario-Kart-esque, both for and against me. Scored at least two 90th minute FKs to tie and gave up more rebounds than I'd like to count after the 80th minute.
