again with the "find a way to win" line
this is a videogame which is about enjoyment and not winning nomatter what ffs

do you dive at every opportunity to win in your regular football games as well?
do you try to get your opponent sent off by faking contact or insulting his sister?

being competitive is fine, winning nomatter what isnt

so i should play a 4-4-3 like everyone else so my center defense is a seive and kids can score 4 goals on me with through balls all day?

I have a system that bad kids cant get through, why in the world would I change that just so people like the way I play. Did anyone like how the Pistons won the NBA title over the Lakers, nope, it was ugly.

They won though.

If you are good enough, you can score on kids that play a 5-5-0, just be patient and eventually they will give you an opening.

im fine with your style, nothing wrong with it

im just hating on scooby´s "winning nomatter what" mentality
there are so many scummy things done that most wouldnt dare without the anonymity of the internet(diving in real football is almost non-existent in lower leagues for example)

19 shots vs 4 in a final, I lose 4-2. Rooney misses 3 semi open goals. Guy scores from 4 back post headers in the game. YAWN. Kompany losing out in the air to Essien twice and Hernandez the other.

tbf, when I said win no matter what I wasnt being literal. I dont alter formations or play keep ball or anything like that. I simply adjust to defensive and try to defend my box when I dont have the ball. Thats just standard no? Or are you guys running around like Arsenal?

I do however have absolutely no problem with these div 9 and 10 guys doing literally whatever it takes to win a game. I suck at MW2, when I play it I hide like a bitch and shoot people if and when I get chance. Wheres the fun in running around like a headless chicken and getting murdered(on both games)?

playing different tactics and going more defensive is completely fine and is done in real football all the time
exploiting fifa specific loopholes like holding the ball at the back all game is super scummy

Naturally winning goes hand in hand with enjoyment. Majority of football fans rather see their side win than play pretty football. Even Arsenal fans now are getting sick of the old "we play the best football" line.

Were going over old ground here but I just want to reiterate that I dont play dirty at all, I just defend properly, but I have no problem at all with others doing what it takes to get a result. Thats what footballs all about.

scooby when playing games is fun do u enjoy sitting in corners?
to get better u experiment different things maybe instead of camping maybe run around use duf strat to make it more fun is what i was implying there nothing wrong with grinding out a result or playing in back 4 last 10 mins to see out a win!

I do agree though, thats crossing the line. In regular friendlies there was no excuse for it but now, either in a FUT tourny, or a h2h seasons match where you might need a point for promotion. I dont blame anyone for doing anything they please.

Keep the ball or give it away and risk losing 3 hours worth of hard efforts?

Nice, I played a h2h seasons game earlier just because I wanted to check out where I was from before(I played a few while I built my FUT). I am like 14-3-2 and in Div 8 needing 10 points from 5 games. I played vs RM and won 2-1 so now need 7 points from 4 games.

Game seemed really wierd though, Like really slow, players not having great touch etc. Is FUT really that different to regular FIFA? I mean I was using Bayern, but still it shouldnt feel that bad.

I wonder when the games are going to get tough. I'm in division 8 now, and its just overaggressive bad kids, one after the next.

i see 3-4-3 in the Pre game, and I'm like, ok, game over.

I am anxious to see how my strategy does against good players. I'll either be able to hold them off, and score some counterattacking goals, or i'll get butt raped 6-0 by guys that can just pass right through my 5 cb/cdm

Trick is to go attacking, and hit the pressing quick tactics, it does however require some skill in 2v2 defending inevitably as you press forward.

Its pretty cool though when youre all over a guy and hes desperately defending then you spank in a 30 yarder, lol

yer when the close down the wings theres space in behind so l1 an x with cm either side n ur in hold in 2 drag them out works a treat!
back in div 5 after to relegation that werent my fault stupid discons i was 1 win away from div 4 last time il try go 1 better!

so tinkered around a lot with my arsenal formation
was kinda toothless upfront for a while due to RvP playing too far forward and therefore getting isolated too much and me refraining from using theo which resulted in a lack of width

now it is a 4-3-3

song as DM, wilshere CM, arteta CAM

song is MVP, incredible player in fifa12 and soooo important to distrupt and hassle other teams during their attacks.
You have to be good at defending vs trough balls here tho because arsenal is playing quite a high line and will be caught quite often.
