Yes I'm used to magic lingo .

But anyways the cards that go on a unit and make them bigger look like
Creatures with the power and toughness

I feel like the campaign tells you all this. Maybe you just forgot though.

I may have skipped that?
I'm not even sure the more I'm playing is. I'm playing vs the computer using different decks and earning different cards

What's a good rule for how many seek powers and cards that help you grab sigils should be in a deck? I feel like so many games I either have way too much power or not enough.

well in a control deck you probably want four since you don't have other t1 plays. in something aggro you would rather play diplomatic seals

Probably not at the higher levels but for me the pace of play is absolutely glacial - seriously going to drive me up a wall, waiting for every ****ing play on every ****ing turn. I would kill to get 3 games in a row where no one clocks on their turn.

Maybe I'm just impatient - most decks aren't that complicated though, and they take forever and then just drop a sigil

Maybe I am just not used to the mechanics of the game but I do run into a lot of situations that require some thought.
Especially if you have to take not just cards that are likely to be played and what attacks are likely to be made in the next few turns into account but also how to manage power and influence. I rarely need till the timer but I also rarely slam down cards immediately.

if you try to play correctly there are definitely some tough turns

that said I have literally been in single digit games out of thousands played where someone went to timer without eventually disconnecting

All I can say is, if you think this game is slow, don't play on MTGO or Hex where priority has to be passed like 10x per turn.

No I would shoot myself playing a slower game. There are no doubt complex decks and hands and as I play more control decks I see the need for thought. That said I'm talking about people going to the timer for obviously uncomplicated decisions, like playing a sigil and then their only other card. I've won a handful of games where they timeout on the last couple of days too.

The unit that gives your Power cards echo is the nuts, holy hell. Just incorporated it into this Echo deck and absolutley loving it.

Primal feels really strong in draft after patch. The monument is great value and always seems to go late in packs. Scaly gruan as a 2 drop basically ruins rakano decks on its own.

Feels like Feln is always there for draft, especially Haunting Scream themed decks.

Oh, and for another underrated card, how about Psionic Savant (1/1 flyer that gets +1/+1 when you draw a card)? Won me two games singlehandedly in my last draft, threw a weapon on her and used some cards that let you draw.

just subbing I look forward to learning from all your ground work so I don't have to use my brain too much at the start.

i got a stonescar quest and made a garbage bloodrite kalis deck that got to top 30 yesterday

seems pretty strong. will post list later but its bad, for some reason instantly put in 4 oni ronin and kept them even though theres nothing I want to warcry and ideally they get sacrificed anyway so lots of improvements available.

Ran into a deck yesterday where someone was just quarrying off super high-cost cards and then playing them from the void on like turn 5-6, seemed pretty unbeatable except maybe by super aggro decks. He dropped that 10 cost card that doesn't let you play spells and then Nicotricus or whatever on the next turn.

Seems as though it's agreed that using gold for the Forge is probably the best use of the currency if someone is unwilling to dump a few real bucks into the game? (Let's be real, I'll probably drop way too much on this game if I really get into it, but the question stands.)

Rank up Forge a few times then do Drafts. Early Forge tiers are easy and the 7-win reward is pretty good. After that, rewards from Drafts are way better since there is no shot at Diamond chests in Forge, and you'll get lots of opportunities to get rare's you need for constructed decks.

If you're going to spend money, just do it up front, so that you can draft without the grind and build up your playset early on. Once you have most of the cards for most of the decks spending any money seems kind of pointless.
