Getting harsh ruled turn five every game sure is ****ing miserable. The turn seven azindel's gift is just the cherry on top.

For the ranked/draft rewards, are they for the highest rank you achieved during the season or where you end it?

Unlike HS, it's where you end it. They don't let you drop from masters or silver but you can drop from diamond or gold, as I understand it.

you can drop tiers? has that happened to anyone here or did you just maybe read it somewhere?

I read it but have not experienced it.

Don't think you can drop from gold since I would have done so but also think I read that you can drop when you hit silver...

Lol, funny coincidence. I just logged in this morning to mention here that I got dropped a tier (d2 to d3) and was pretty surprised about it.

Got d2 back 2 games later though, thankfully.

Had a really bad run, mostly variance but probably some bad play too, lost like 7-8 games in a row. Took I think 6 games at 0 before I got dropped. Luckily you drop into the top of the below tier, and not have to start at 0 there.

Anyone have fun ideas for an Elysian build? I don't play either color much but would like to have a deck for challenges and whatnot.

I would love a mode that is between constructed and draft, like where there is only a limited set of cards but you can still build what you want within those constraints. I'm tired of running into the same damn Big Combrei deck full of legendaries

Where can I find out where some key words mean?

by hovering over the card

I see that. But trying to figure out power and stuff . Don't see an explanation for that and influence

Power is any card that says power on it. Think of the numbers as colourless mana you can divide up and spend on spells every turn. If you have 5, you can play just a 5 OR a 4 and a 1, OR a 3 and a 2 etc. The symbols add another limitation in that you can only play a card if you have at least that many of each symbol.

Example: So if you have 4 as your number, and you've played 3 yellow symbols and 1 blue symbol, you could play up to 4 cards that cost 1 and have a blue symbol. Or play 2 cards that cost 2 and have a blue symbol. You cannot play a card that costs 2 but has two blue symbols because you've only played one blue symbol so far.

Ok that makes sense . I've played magic for a long time .

I'm still only playing the tutorial or whatever it starts you on.

So I had a guy that gives you max power every turn .

Don't you get all your "mana" at the start of every turn?

You start every turn with the total power you've played up to that point

So what's the point of the unit that says you start every turn with maximum power ?

Also thanks for dealing with the dumb questions guys

There's one that gives you +1 maximum power, I assume you're referring to that. Might as well just read "+1 power"

This one costs like 1 for a 1/1 I'll screenshot it next time

Yes that's it. Basically like playing an extra blank sigil when you play it

it gives you +1 power while alive. so if you play it on turn 1 and it survives you start turn 2 with 2 power

Damn that just brought me back a ways, haven't played or even looked at MTG in so long but I still remember cards...

Numotgaming and Eternal Nexus are good resources for this game, as are Reddit threads you can find through Google.
