Ugh, just had a game and noticed I used the wrong Seats. The above list should be with Vengeance, not Order.

There's a special place in hell reserved for the people running bog-standard chalice control in casual.

I haven't touched Casual. Almost the whole ranked ladder is brewing/meme-decking/set 2 testing right now. There is really no point as the games are pretty soft and casual rewards are such ****.

Finally top 50 in draft.
Messing around with sky crag aggro.
Seems strong

I believe Dire Wolf was planning this for December 2016 for Legends. It still hasn't happened. I wouldn't hold my breath on them getting it done with Eternal either but who knows

Fortunately the app is excellent (I had already been playing the beta version on a Canadian account) and it even released early Eternal CCG (rip hearthstone)

Basically the whole of set 2 is prone to silence/void hate so I imagine Big Combrei is going to shine even more than it has already.

I have a feeling most top tier decks in this weekends ETS are simply going to be people running Set 1 decks with a few new tech cards from Set 2.

Haven't seen many straight hooru decks or mentor at all for that matter, so I took the old mono-justice hero deck out and tweaked it a bit. Over the last few days it's been an overall winner in the basement of master, but definitely takes some getting used to.

Code:
1 Seek Power (Set1 #408)
3 Bring Down (Set2 #217)
2 Cloudsnake Saddle (Set1 #199)
2 Eilyn's Favor (Set0 #24)
4 Kothon, the Far-Watcher (Set2 #218)
4 Tranquil Scholar (Set2 #76)
3 Auric Sentry (Set1 #146)
3 Eilyn's Choice (Set2 #220)
4 Hero of the People (Set1 #156)
4 Silverwing Familiar (Set1 #152)
2 Spellshield Architect (Set2 #221)
3 Spirit Guide (Set2 #83)
4 Valkyrie Enforcer (Set1 #151)
3 Hammer of Might (Set1 #170)
4 Master's Lesson (Set2 #222)
4 Shelterwing Rider (Set2 #223)
10 Justice Sigil (Set1 #126)
7 Primal Sigil (Set1 #187)
4 Hooru Banner (Set2 #216)
4 Seat of Order (Set0 #51)

Hooru fliers is one of my favorite. Might try that out since I've been trying to get Hero to work forever

Heavily refined my lifesteal/lifeforce deck over the past week. Having good success with it in ranked ladder, somewhere in the 60% winrate range. The actual lifeforce elements of it have been trimmed down significantly, just using Katra and Bloodcall Invoker to build up the board and buff units. Mystic Ascendants at the top of the curve to help card advantage and drawing to the pieces of the engine. Oathbringer dropped, just so slow tempo-wise and does nothing if she can't attack.

Another deck I built, Praxis w/ the usual Dawnwalker cycling shenanigans. Not sure it's really an improvement over the Elysian version, but the use of Warp units like Shatterglass Mage/Heart of the Vault helps to keep the units rolling against board wipes.

I don't think oathbringer is viable in any deck, unfortunately. Warping in a shatterglass mage and getting a relic is one of those game swings that is just hugely satisfying.

Have played a handful of drafts now and it feels like I'm being baited into strangers every time. There hasn't been a single instance where I've been like "yeah I can play this prophetic/towering stranger" and not have to sweat opponent strangers already on board.

edit: For your praxis killers deck, is xenan obelisk generating enough value when you're running that many big units?
Eternal CCG (rip hearthstone) Quote

Good question. I haven't really tried without. However since the deck is running very little in the way of removal, we don't really want to be caught in a situation where our units are not the biggest in play. Obelisk helps make sure our Titan is bigger than their Titan, etc.

It would be interesting to try it out without the Obelisk and something like Praxis Displacer in it's place, or a bit more anti-aggro control.

A possible alternative to obelisk with that praxis killers deck:

Code:
3 Copper Conduit (Set1 #66)
4 Seek Power (Set1 #408)
4 Torch (Set1 #8)
3 Friendly Wisp (Set1 #82)
4 Temple Scribe (Set1 #502)
4 Xenan Initiation (Set2 #44)
4 Amber Acolyte (Set1 #93)
4 Dawnwalker (Set1 #86)
2 Diogo Málaga (Set2 #179)
4 Sandstorm Titan (Set1 #99)
4 Shatterglass Mage (Set2 #181)
4 Heart of the Vault (Set2 #183)
2 Predatory Carnosaur (Set1 #118)
2 Talir, Who Sees Beyond (Set1 #124)
7 Fire Sigil (Set1 #1)
10 Time Sigil (Set1 #63)
2 Amber Monument (Set1 #420)
4 Praxis Banner (Set2 #171)
4 Seat of Impulse (Set0 #54)
Diogo in the middle and Talir on the top. Won a couple of board stalls with that against elysian and no harsh rule combrei (granted, they were playing way too passive). Talir hits almost half the deck with destiny, and with an ulti'd diogo that's a threat for lethal pretty much every turn.

I don't have any Diogo's and spent my saved up shiftstone already. Will be trying something like that out once I can.

Here is a theorycraft deck I came up yesterday that I am going to try once I get a set of Diogo's. I like the idea of using Talir and will probably slot that in, instead of Rhinarc Huntpack.

Code:
4 Seek Power (Set1 #408)
4 Torch (Set1 #8)
4 Temple Scribe (Set1 #502)
4 Amber Acolyte (Set1 #93)
4 Avirax Familiar (Set2 #46)
4 Champion of Impulse (Set2 #173)
2 Brilliant Discovery (Set2 #177)
4 Diogo Málaga (Set2 #179)
4 Sandstorm Titan (Set1 #99)
3 Shatterglass Mage (Set2 #181)
4 Waystone Infuser (Set2 #63)
4 Heart of the Vault (Set2 #183)
4 Mystic Ascendant (Set1 #116)
1 Rhinarc Huntpack (Set2 #67)
7 Fire Sigil (Set1 #1)
8 Time Sigil (Set1 #63)
2 Amber Monument (Set1 #420)
4 Praxis Banner (Set2 #171)
4 Seat of Impulse (Set0 #54)
... unintentional, but this list actually has 100% Time unit's, so really a perfect deck to give that dust-gathering Talir a try.

Also probably being too greedy with this deck concept. Probably prone to aggro and going to need some early units / lifegain.

The second set is pretty fun and everything, 2 things annoy me though. First of all it seems like they substantially increased the cost by printing a **** ton of low cost high impact legendary cards that are must crafts of you want to play their faction and made it way harder to get set 2 packs without straight up buying them.
But what ever its still not overly expensive but what ever made them think printing that damn unblockable aegis unit is a good idea? That's the dumbest card I have seen in any game in a while

TBH I haven't seen much of him on the ladder. I agree there are several cheap tourney staples in set 2 that are tempting. I also spent stone to buy several sets of fun mythics just for the heck of it.

Down to 25k stone from 80k+. Even spent ~5 impatiently on rares which I never do. Struggling in diamond 1. Brewing alone is tough. =(

Luckily I haven't either but I think its just a matter of time till some fast weapon based argentport deck abuses the **** out of him.
You could make a discort channel or something for brewing I would certainly join you

Heart of the vault can't be a bad craft. That card is bonkers and midrange praxis is a very solid deck.
