Lost Aela and cant find her back, cant even search for her when i use the talk to the companions leader quest. Which sucks cuz she has to teach me more archery.
I need/want to learn pickpocketing. Who else besides the old woman in Windhelm can teach you pickpocketing. I very rarely pickpocket lvl 53 with 36 or so in pickpocketin. I just want the extra pockets perk.
i'm kinda stuck at the moment as in Markarth i have an excessively high bounty, i must of killed 100's of guards and i cant even submit and pay a fine.....now im doing the stormcloak quest line and
Spoiler:
i have to blackmail Raerek the jarl's assistant and i cannot even speak to him as literally the whole castle attacks me including the Jarl
what can i do?
Go to jail do your time. The only probably is you will loose some of your skill progressions. Are you entering the city with your weapon sheathed?
lol. I just posted that too show how addictive the game really is. It does get annoying though as I have to actually stop playing and get my fat lazy ass off my couch to restart the system since i don't use the Shock 3 controller. And that too the fact that it takes another 5min just to start playing again since the load screens take so freaking long. Add that to the 20min it takes to rest 30 days it does take quite a bit of actually playing time away. If I was someone that only played couple hr sessions is would really suck.
I know I'm just digging the hole even deeper...lol

Lulz. I wasn't trying to be a jerk. I misread that and thought you meant you were going to start the entire game over after 200 hours. I'm a slow pony.
I recently finished companions, but only got Aela (or whatever her name is) as companion. Do you have to talk to someone to acutally get the house?
Companions don't give you a house, basically just a dorm room in the basement of their building. I walked into the basement and Aela and one of the dudes were having a conversation and then she instructed him to show me to my room.
The room is straight ahead when you first go through the basement door and there is a dresser that you can store all your junk in.

One of the Kahjit caravan merchants is a pickpocket trainer. I used her once and then I later found the whole crew and their horse dead near a Giant camp.
Pickpocketing levels extremely quickly. Put one perk in light fingers already and just go from town to town picking stuff with resting bonus/thief stone. You'll get to lvl 50 from 36 in about 15 minutes.

Go to Riften and join the Thieves Guild. They have a bunch of trainers in thievery related skills, including Pickpocket.
Pickpocket skill gains are based on value of stolen items.
Training Pickpocket must be planned carefully, as it levels extremely fast, potentially advancing your character level too far at low levels. It's easily possible to max out Pickpocketing on your first visit to Riverwood, leaving you at level 20 or so without any combat skills.
Easy ways of training your Pickpocket skill include:
Stealing jewelry; high success rate (low weight), big skill gains (high value).
Trainer pickpocketing: Pay a Trainer to train a skill, steal your gold back, pay again, and repeat for as long as you're able to "buy" new levels of training. This way, you can gain as many levels of the skill as you wish to learn from the trainer, and gain levels of Pickpocket with a net cost of 0 gold. As the training cost reaches 1000 gold, the success chance of stealing back your gold gets dramatically lower without the Cutpurse perk.
Pickpocketuum Mobile: Reverse-pickpocket gold onto someone and steal it back.
Why don't you raise pickpocket by, you know, actually picking some pockets? It's fun to see what people carry on them. One thing I do is sneak around in houses at night and pickpocket while they are asleep, while, of course stealing everything in the house. This is esp fun in that one chick's house in Riften, the Briar-whatever girl who really runs the town.
