I just started playing oblivion also. So far it's pretty good, I'm really early into the game but it's seems a bit more confusing than the Fallouts.

If you are playing Oblivion on the PC, get the Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul mod. It is the **** (what the game should have been on release), and the guy that made it was hired by Obsidian because of his work.

Yeah this looks awesome.

Decided to give Oblivion another try. I've tried a couple times before but never got more then an hour in. Spent the last 2 days modding the **** out of it and I'm ready to give it another shot today.

depends on what you mean by good but yeah you can buy a laptop in the 1-1.5k range that will play most games out atm without having to turn everything to low

i wouldn't go the console route on this game. just like oblivion and morrowind, these games aren't finished until the community gets their hands on them. the mod support for these games is outstanding.

And just to echo bdubbers: games with a strong mod-community behind them are always better played on the PC - check out TESNexus.
