I bought this game a few weeks ago and can't play it.

Every time I start the graphics in the opening scene are ****ed up. The horse cart starts flipping around or it just stops while all sounds/voices are still working.

I've looked up a few "fixes" but nothing seems to work.

Anyone have any idea how to fix this problem? I'd really like to play.

The power of posting. I finally got it to work.

Fun game so far even though I have no idea what to do.

I'm sure the people itt have several thousand hours played collectively. Anything in particular you want to know about?

I've only got 140 hours with Skyrim and all I know is you should have Lydia carry your burdens.

I'm slowly figuring it out. It was just so overwhelming from the start b/c of all the stuff you can do.

I don't have a lot of experience playing these types of games so I'm learning as I go.

My biggest complaint early on is that the professions are basically worthless. Unless you plan on putting a ton of hours in one character and grinding the hell out of profs, they just level too slow to be useful.

Check out some build guides. They're usually pretty easy to follow, and will help you avoid wasting skill points or whatever they're called.

what are professions?
never heard of it and played the hell out of this recently.
havent finished the main quest and yet I rerolled a char already to try another build.
this game is awesome.

I have like 500 hours in my original run as an Archer. Was thinking about getting this again and maybe doing a Swordsman run. Is that any fun? Have any of the glitches been fixed?

I did my first run through with a Redguard melee dude and found it kind of tough to figure out where to put the difficulty slider...seemed too easy at first then I slide the bar like one notch and it's now impossible to kill dragons. That was early on though so it's possible that was corrected idk

Second run through with a spellcaster was more enjoyable, really liked playing through the stuff that led to becoming Archmage

Hmmmm an Archmage does sound fun. Might try that instead actually.

So, I was doing a search for the amazing Malukahs version of The Dragonborn Comes when this popped up:

I don't know how this has been around for so long without me knowing about it, and tbh I'm disappointed in this thread for not having brought it to my attention years ago.

That's a really interesting channel. Dude has 1 mil subscribers, And that video has 10 millions views... yet his most recent videos struggle to top 10K views. How do you only pull in 1% of your subscriber base to watch a new video?

His videos gets high numbers when he's singing - very few care about his "here's my opinion on something"-talking videos.
