Red decks are all over the top of the ladder. It doesn't suck at all.

They must really really hate control mage to continue to nerf more cards from the deck. They left Red/Blue combo alone so I'm ok with it.

Lots of drama going on currently after someone posted a 45 minute video talking about how Aggro is OP and all the top players play it. In actuality, the top of ladder is pretty much all control players and they're just firing shots back at him.

weirdest thing, I've never had a problem in 2 weeks but now every time I try to start a game I get "Error - Relaunch from the Bethesda.net launcher" after the two initial splash screens. Happens every time.

Oh wow didn't realize I was playing a 2p2er! No, I went the good ol 6-1 then 0-2. I was pretty upset because the difference between 6 and 7 is huge, and it was definitely a 7 win deck. I did open another Tazkad with the packs though so lots of dust if the leaked nerfs are real!

How'd you do?

I usually get the same issue around patch time. I think if you log out of the bethesda launcher and log back in then it will fix it.

anyone feel like the 5 mana 3/3 green snake that shackles a whole lane is super underrated?

everytime i saw it played in arena I feel like its borderline OP, but nobody plays it in constructed even in decks like control scout/spellblade, might try it out.

I don't think it's quite good enough. The deck that wants that effect is blue with the 3/4 deal 3 to each shackled creature. That deck already has Winters Grasp so it can play a different color.

that card is kind of garbage and gimmicky though?

while a deck like scout often just needs an extra turn against archer or crusader for not too big of a mana cost to stabilize and drop blood lords or start draining, etc.

Dunno, will give it a shot.

Yah it's pretty gimmicky but I've seen the deck on the ladder more than once.

I can definitely see it as a budget option for Red Bramman. If it shackled everything instead of just one lane I think it'd have a shot at being playable though.

aww ul i ended up with 4 wins, had plenty of early game but got out valued mid to late game in the matches i lost :/

curious what your arena rank is?

i like this card. being able to shunt down one lane seems pretty huge to me

Arena is pretty ******ed. Feels like you either have really good runs or terrible ones. I have almost no arena runs end at 4-6 wins then a lot of runs that end 7 wins or below 4 wins.

My theory is this is because of the matching system. You are more likely to get a even skill match up at low win count since there's more players there so if you got a weaker deck then you're pretty ****ed. Meanwhile when you're at 4 wins and up search times are usually longer and there's a better chance to be matched down. Maybe it's just variance though, not like I got a very big sample size.

Small sample size and possibly a just you problem. If you draft well and play well you should almost never get below 4 without some real bad luck/highrolling from opponents. I think I've had 2-3 of those this entire month. Actually happened to me yesterday as my 3 losses were vs 2 Ungolims and 1 turn 5 Soulrest/Soulrest/Royal Sage. I've actually been getting more 4-6 win runs lately for some reason. I think the player base is just getting better than it was a month ago.

I don't think it pairs down very often. I've had 10 min queue times at 6 wins before presumably because it was waiting for another 6 win player. I've also played against IRL friend multiple times and every time we've both had the same record despite my MMR being much much higher.

Arena just feels like an absolute joke lately. Start a fresh run....first game opponent hits 3 prophecies and then has the blood lord legendary and a mantikora to stabilize at 2 HP. 2nd game I have lethal on board....opponent hits a prophecy guard (after having another javelin else he was already dead) and then proceeds to drop 2 more guards in a row and I'm 1 off lethal and lose.

Damn that's some run bad. I really can't say enough how good prophecy/taunt decks are in Arena. Add some removal and you always have a chance to stabilize and win.

And yet again...opponent has BACK TO BACK immolating blasts to stay alive when I have the game under control. Then has divine fervor + the card that fills a lane with 1/1 tokens....and then has cliff racer + dune smuggler (w/e the +1/1 change lanes) for exact lethal when I was 1 off. This is ****ing ridiculous. How the **** do they have the exact rare/epic they need to stay in the game every time?
